"I am not sure how this hotel has good reviews. First of all, valet is 42 dollars. The ceiling looks like its about to fall, the rooms are small and smell. There were mosquitoes in the restroom, only 1 towel for 3 people. There were black long hairs on the bed. I will never go back."

"We stayed here to celebrate our 28th anniversary. The pros: Amazing views from the 10th floor facing the San Diego Bay. We were able to check in a couple hours early and the parking was close to the room. The shower was also very nice. The cons: the parking, it was way overpriced at $50 a night and there was no warming or advanced notice. The bed was also very hard. Overall, the location and views were 5 stars."

"This is the first hotel I've ever stayed at that doesn't offer room cleaning for stays of up to three days. Every other hotel I've visited provided daily housekeeping, including cleaning the room, changing the sheets, replacing towels, and removing used ones. The toilet also became clogged during our stay. Although maintenance responded quickly and fixed it with a plunger, it was still very inconvenient. Another downside was the parking fee of $45 per day, which I found excessive. On our last day, I had breakfast at the hotel. It was a simple meal of eggs and bacon, but about 30 minutes after leaving, I became very sick. I'm not sure whether it was a stomach bug or if the food wasn't fresh, but it was an unpleasant way to end the stay."

"1. Location is great. 2. Elevators were very slow, especially when there were conferences and the hotel had high occupancy. Long line of people waiting for elevator that I've never seen elsewhere. 3. Elevator noise was very significant in rooms closer to the elevator. 4. They had a $47 destination fee per day, then they give you $24 credit that you can only spend in the stores inside the hotel, where the prices of everything were unreasonably high. Very smart to figure out how to make more money - way to go Marriott!"
