"Nice hotel. Close to anticipated planned event: cl"
The cabbie inadvertently delivered me to the incorrec hotel location (both hotels belong to the same hotel chain, & are located not far from one another) the first hotel shuttle kindly took me to the correct location, even after the shuttle service hours had ended.

"Nice time!"
Great location in Hotel Circle. Clean room. Queen Bed. Good parking; lots of covered spaces for shade. Microwave in the room along with refrigerator. Iron if needed. Great breakfast spread in the morning; waffle maker, eggs, sausage, yogurt, tea, coffee. The only thing missing was a pool. They claim they don't have one as they are close to the beach, but the July traffic heading to the beach -- ugh!

"Great staff!"
Everything the hotel lacks in condition, it is made up for by the staff! The bathroom was dirty (ring around the toilet, toe nail clipping on the tile, not swept obviously), the bed was a tad bit lumpy but still comfortable enough to sleep on. But the staff was excellent! Every single person we talked to was awesome. From the security guard who helped us to our room with our bags (we got in late so I guess the bellhops had left??) to the front desk staff to the bartender...every single one of them was friendly and very helpful. Overall we would stay there again unless we can find a more up to date hotel for the same price. Lol

"Not to Shabby"
As soon as we walked into the hotel we thought the appearance was very nice. The hotel provided a paid parking area which was nice considering the location of San Diego where parking can be a bit of a chore. The staff was very nice and always polite. There was the ease of access to snacks if needed which was nice when we didn't want to have to run out for a few things. The dining area for when we didn't want to leave to find breakfast. The room itself provided plenty of space for our family and was kept nicely clean. I only wished they had little bigger bathroom. Over all the hotel and staff were very good and the location was great with plenty of a attractions nearby.

"Convenient with easy access "
The hotel was clean and easily accessed. The staff was nice and the room was clean and operational. Although the room was somewhat small it was well appointed and easily accessible near the car making bag loading and unloading easy. And although we did not try out the hotel's restaurant, there was a nearby Bunz restaurant that was very good if unpretentious with very nice cinnamon bun French toast. All in all an enjoyable stay - and much better than a stay later in the trip at a high end hotel that was awful.

"Interesting Adventure"
When I booked our room I knew that the Hotel was doing renovations so I expected that. We arrived at the hotel extremely late due to the Cajon fires and many road closures. (4 hour trip turned into 10 hours) The staff was very friendly each time that I called to let them know we were still traveling. When we finally arrived we were give a room that was still under construction, I contacted the front desk and they moved us to a new room. The second room was nice and clean. Unfortunately we were awaken after being asleep 3 hours by the jackhammers and construction at 9 am two floors above us. Staff was very nice and helpful. Should be really nice once the renovations have been completed. It was in a great location. Overall our stay was good.

"One night stay..."
After renting a room for a one night stay with Motel 6 San Diego Mission Valley, my family and I were greeted with a welcoming staff but on our way to our room, not so welcoming. The elavator was very hot in temperature as well as the hallway on the fourth floor to our room. The room itself was hot and humid. The window was open and the air conditioner was off. Everything else like the beds and location of surrounding of things to do was average.

Hotels in Mission Valley, San Diego, put you in the heart the city's Old Town, a place with an unparalleled role in the history of the American West. It's the site of the first Spanish settlement in California, where some of the oldest buildings in the state still stand, but today's Mission Valley also draws in visitors as a prime entertainment and shopping district. Find a San Diego flight today for a journey into California history.

    Mission Valley

The ruins that remain of the Presidio of San Diego, which was established in 1769, are in Presidio Park, a four-acre green space and National Historic Landmark overlooking Mission Valley. The original site is now marked by the Junipero Serra Museum, where you can learn about this earliest of all Spanish settlements in the state. Mission Valley hotels also put you close to the Old Town San Diego Historic Park, where preserved historic buildings from 1820 to 1870 show you what life was like in San Diego long before it became a destination for beach-seeking tourists. See stores, a stable, a schoolhouse, a blacksmith's shop, and a newspaper office. This desirable area of San Diego doesn't just appeal to history buffs. Book a vacation to San Diego for the whole family and take the kids to SeaWorld, located on the edge of Mission Valley. The valley ends at Mission Bay, a saltwater lagoon surrounded by the largest aquatic park in the country. Wander its pedestrian pathways, or take to the water with a sailing, jet-skiing, or wakeboarding excursion. And you can add shopping to your itinerary: Westfield Mission Valley and Fashion Valley Mall are just two of the area's major retail destinations.
