"We happened to stay at this hotel (we were there to attend a memorial service) during graduation weekend for UCSD. All of the hotels in San Diego were busy for this big event, including this one. The day after we left, the price for this hotel went down by half. If I paid THAT price, I would be fine with this hotel, but for the price we paid (about $300), this hotel underwhelmed. It is a clean but a basic experience -- small room, small bathroom. The hotel had everything you need but not a lot of style or any frills -- including the breakfast -- it is workable but that is all. It seemed to be a clean $150/night kind of place with a pool, some nice plantings, and jammed into a not so charming street."

"The location is good there's a lot of food and shopping options, the staff was friendly and helpful, I didn't inspect the room but it looked clean, breakfast was good- eggs, sausage, breads, muffins, fruit, cereal and waffles, there's a laundry room on site, the only issue I came across was the wifi- I had to call the help support service to get connected the tech rep was nice and helpful and got the job done. Free parking is on site."

"The property is great for families, they have a very nice pool and the premises are very well kept. They have vending machines in case you need a drink and there are many restaurants within walking distance. We loved it."
