"Pool experience is something to be inproved upon. "
I picked this hotel specifically because of their pool parties. My husband and I were disappointed with the very small pool and the pool wait staff. It was a Friday, so we were more interested in their Friday night pool party. We were frustrated to learn that it was free to anyone off the street, not just hotel guests, so we could've stayed in any hotel in gaslamp. The party was decent however the pool staff and pool bar staff are pretentious, aloof and have bad attitudes. There were a lot more kids in the pool during the day than I was expecting and there is not enough seating for guests around the pool. The check-in staff member was really nice and the hotel itself is contemporary and comfortable overall. We may or may not give it another try in the future as there are many others to try in the Gaslamp area.

"Nice getaway"
I was there w/ friends for a little wknd getaway. The hotel lobby was very welcoming and had that vintage feel. The person that checked us in was also very welcoming and immediately offered to help us out w/ anything we might need for our stay. Best part about this hotel was they deliver ice to your room!! Although we felt bad asking, they had no problem delivering! The location of our room felt like an apartment complex but when we were getting checked in, I was advised that it was in a more private area of the hotel which I appreciated. The pool was very inviting although it was cold. And it was a very quaint, quiet hotel on the first night. Second night had a college event so the entire lobby was filled w/ college kids but it was all under control. This hotel caters to wedding events and they also had a wedding this wknd. I am a wedding planner and it was a great experience for me to stay there and would definitely recommend this hotel/venue to my future clients!

"Great Location"
When staying at the Wyndham Bayside I highly recommend the " Bay View" rooms, they have large balconies overlooking the bay. The staff is pleasant , the airport shuttle is convenient and free. The above mentioned balconies are not very private your neighbors are very close and no privacy screens or panels on the balcony. The only drawback for me is that the Wyndham charges $10 per day if you want a refridgerator,, no fridges in rooms. Everything else about this hotel I enjoyed and would recommend this hotel

"Perfect stay"
The entire staff was helpful and gracious from the valet to the front desk to the maid service. They had a pet bowl and and pet bed ready for my dog at check in. The bed was comfortable, the room was gorgeous with an excellent view. The hotel provided coffee in the morning in the cozy lobby and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the gaslamp district and very walkable to all the restaurants, bars and sites. My dog and I had a great time and will definitely return to this hotel.

"Convenient location to stay in San Diego"
My stay at Pacific Inn and Suites was a great experience. This motel is located just across the waterfront and walking distance from little Italy where one can find a variety of places to eat. There is Little Italy trolley station just behind the motel from where one can take the trolley to downtown. This motel is one of the finest budget places for bed. Very clean room, nice beds, and clean bathroom. Toiletries are better than I have found in other similar places. Manager and staff are friendly and welcoming. Daytime manager was nice to give us some recreational info e.g the trolley ride. I would recommend staying here anytime you are in San Diego.
