"Hotel Del Coronado One night stay"
Love this hotel. SUPER expensive. The staff is super frinedly and nice. The prices for everything is from bottled water ($4.95) to Chips and guacamole ($18.00) is unbelievably high. I took my own beer wine champs and alcohol and saved hundreds! You can drink on the beach FYI!! Tell them it is your anniversary and they will give you a card that allows you to get free: 2 beach chairs and umbrella ($65.) 2 free drinks ($35.00) 1 chocolate bar ($10.00) Free upgrade at the spa from 30 minutes to 50 minutes

"Relaxing time but expensive!"
We checked in at 4pm but had to switch rooms as the first one had the family pool literally right outside our slider. The hotel is looking a little worn and could use with a little more attention to cleanliness on the lounge outside patio (floor and cushions stained) but otherwise was nicely set up. Pool areas had loungers with pads which was nice, as was the snack stand there. Our room was ok with a partial bay view but the beds were too soft and we were gone for 6 hours to the pool one day and when we returned housekeeping had still not cleaned our room. The lounge/lounge staff were very nice and helpful but service was slow for drinks and food there. Was great to sit outside at night by the firepits and relax. All food is pretty pricey. They have a shuttle service to SilverStrand State Beach which is nice but the driver is not very careful of his passengers safety. Parking prices are ridiculous- $29/day for self parking (why charge for a garage and spaces that are part of your hotel property???); valet is $33/day. To access any other restaurants you have to drive 10 mins back in to main area of town down by Hotel del Coronado.

"Amazing Stay"
Excellent location - close to the beach, lots of street parking available (easy to find free parking too), great restaurants and quiet area. Great for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. You can borrow bikes, beach towels and beach chairs from the front desk. The pastries for breakfast were really delicious!

"Great Hotel on Coronado"
We were extremely impressed with our stay at the Coronado Beach Resort. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The very reasonably priced accommodations were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach, close to fine restaurants, and near a trolley stop for transportation into San Diego. Highly recommend this resort based on price, location, and staff.

"Hotel With Character"
I'm surprised there are not more positive reviews for this hotel. Not ordinary in any way. Many large suites are available that feel like spacious apartments. Hotel is laid out like a Mexican market place with the rooms surrounding the open air market on the inside. All of the restaurants within the hotel have excellent food with friendly prompt service even when busy. The rooms are private and in most cases have private stair ways. Our suite had a balcony over looking the market and high windows with a partial beach view which was a nice touch. The hallway and living room had hardwood floors. The only carpet was in the bedroom. We are very glad we found this place, since it rescued us from the typical cookie cutter hotel with a hefty price tag. The only negative was the lack of updating throughout the suite. Countertops, tiles and fixtures were quite dated although they worked fine and were kept very clean. I noticed they were remodeling another suite near our's so it appears they are working on this. Overall, highly recommended.

It’s hard to beat a vacation at the beach. You go to get warm. You go to get wet. You go to get the sand in between your toes. Pack a bag stocked with towels, suntan lotion, and don’t forget your sandals, because there is a lounge chair near the water with your name on it.

Beach hotels in Coronado offer the very best in coastal accommodations. Find one with a spacious room just steps from the sand and ocean-facing windows to ensure you catch that cool, late-afternoon sea breeze. After spending an entire day getting golden and frolicking in the ocean, head back to the hotel and treat yourself to a classically mixed mai tai in the lobby bar. Your vacation at the seashore should be one for the record books and one of the Coronado beach hotels will make sure all your seaside needs are taken care of.

You may think a stay near the ocean is out of the question considering your budget, but Travelocity has an extensive list of cheap beach hotels in Coronado that are perfect for every traveler. We have the sun, the sand, the water, and even the fish tacos, so go dive in.
