It was an older property but it was clean and felt safe. Staff was accommodating. The room was larger than expected. The price was great also.

Convenient, well secure but aged amenities

The place was ok. It is safe, secure and at a very good location. The best thing was that it is right in the middle of San Diego and everything was very close by. The place is well secured and had ample parking. However, there was no separate sink for the bathroom. Only one sink in the kitchen and the stove was barely working. Bed wasn't comfortable.

it was good for a cheap hotel! we found a couple hairs in the bed, and a janky lighter under the bed as well. it was decently clean other than that. noisy because we were by the street and there was cops outside. but other than that, good pool and jacuzzi and good hotel for what it is. would come again

Average older rundown hotel, it is clean as can be

Hotel is run down and bathrooms are in rough shape. TVs require you to login for tv or just watch freezer or something like that

The pool are looks nothing like the photos. The lounge chairs cheap and broken, the pool was cloudy. The rooms were old and had a bad smell. No hooks. You do get what you pay for. :)

Terrible Stay: Cut Our Trip Short Due to Condition

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I absolutely would. Our stay was beyond terrible from the moment we arrived. After checking in on Friday evening, we were heading to our room when we saw a rat in the hallway—this alone should have been a red flag. To be fair, the front desk staff was very polite and professional, and I have no complaints about their service. However, the condition of the hotel itself was unacceptable. The room felt damp and humid, and the floors were moist and slippery, which made it feel unhygienic and unsafe. The bathtub was infested with ants, adding to the overall feeling that the room was dirty and poorly maintained. The beds were the worst part. They were extremely uncomfortable, as if someone very heavy had slept on them for years without the mattresses being replaced. My wife and I would literally sink to the middle of the bed, making it impossible to get any rest. We did not sleep at all that first night, and by Saturday morning, we were exhausted and frustrated. We decided to cut our trip short and check out a full day early, even though we had originally planned to stay until Sunday. It was so bad that I should have asked for my money back for the night we did not stay, but I didn’t even bother—I just wanted out. We ended up driving home Saturday evening—an hour and a half away—just to finally get some rest. This hotel completely ruined our weekend getaway.

Better than expected

Older property but nice layout. Most rooms are around the pool. Good sized room. Kitchenette was unexpected. Nice table in bedroom area. All in all better than expected at price point.
