"Nice hotel and close to beach. "
Good location and be sure to leave hotel grounds as lots to see in evening time close by. Breakfast was dreadful expensive at rainbow. 33dollars +++ and all I had was boiled egg on toast... Dont get caught if you're on a room only. Only other caution was Luah. Shop around ! was dreadful and on top of garage in high rise buildings. Total rip off as had been to a Luah before in Maui and was so perfect. Apart from these two. Holiday was amazing and would recommend to family or loved ones. Perfect location and do public transport to get around and hire a car for a day. We did do Pearl Harbor with an organized tour. So recommended.

"The Surfrider Moana Hotel, Waikiki "
For the second consecutive year my sisters and I stayed at the beautiful Surfrider Moana Hotel on Waikiki. The hotel's location is just perfect - right in the middle of everything. The staff is outstanding - very helpful and they go above and beyond to be accommodating. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with all of the necessary ammentities. Bed linen so comfortable - just like in a spa! I've stayed at other Hawaiian hotels, and this is by far the BEST! I would recommend it to anyone.

    "Great location to the beach"
The location between the Pacific Beach and the beach is less than 3 minutes walking! All you need is to cross the street. The only thing that we did not like, they charge us extra $209 as fee after we paid the full amount of money thru Travelocity. We did enjoy our vacation. Wonderful hotel! The cost of lunch inside the hotel was $45 which is very expensive to me that is why we did not eat there. The staff was friendly to us. Great customer service. We loved that hotel!

    "Great Hawaiian Hotel on Maui"
We stayed three nights at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel pride's itself in its keeping with Hawaiian tradition, and they even invited us to a farewell lei ceremony before we left. They also offered free Hawaiian entertainment (e.g. hula shows) on most nights. The room was nice and had a great view of the ocean and the hotel's courtyard. There was plenty of space in the courtyard to find a quiet spot to relax after a dip in the ocean or the pool. Free parking is hard to come by around the Kaanapali Beach area, but the hotel did offer paid parking in a garage that was easily accessible from most guest rooms.

    "Amazing Experience"
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon, and it was an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuine. They truly love what they do, and show it in their work. The room was clean, spacious, and well taken care of by room service. My wife and I felt very safe and welcomed here. The hotel is within close proximity of a lot of things in Kihei. The complementary shuttle service (3 mile radius of hotel) is a great thing to get you from place to place within the city, and there are a lot of restaurants, shopping, and activities to do within the 3 mile radius. The hotel is across the street from several beautiful beaches. Just to be aware, there is a $20 a day resort fee, which includes a long list of things offered by the hotel. However, the resort fee is worth every penny. The shuttle, bike rental (3 hours for free), beach and pool towels, and parking are some of the things included in the fee. The hotel is beautiful and appealing. The pool is beautiful and has a poolside bar which was nice to relax at. I would recommend Maui Coast Hotel to everyone who is visiting Maui. My wife and I have no complaints and really enjoyed our say.

    "Not Mobility Friendly"
The property is huge!!!! Anyone with mobility issues will find it quite difficult to get around especially in rainy weather when the boats and tram aren't working. The quickest way from point "A" to point "B" usually requires navigating a flight of stairs which may be impossible or certainly difficult for mobility challenged persons. There are plenty of elevators, however, they are typically at the other end, away from where you are going. The property is beautiful, with awesome views of the ocean and while there is not a swim beach on the property there are some beautiful ones about 20 miles both north and south of the hotel. The hotel does have three pools, two larger pools that are family friendly and one in the Ocean Tower that is adult only. Several restaurants are on the property, food is pretty good and prices are in line with high end hotels. Most, if not all, of the restaurants close by 9:00 pm. Room service is good but pricey. The rooms are a very nice size and the beds are extremely comfortable, we had no trouble going from our latex mattress to the one at the hotel. The staff is very accommodating and always willing to go the extra step to please!!!!!

    "Great location!"
Had just a wonderful time. A wonderful location on the Bay. Our Cabana had wonderful views. The restaurant as the hotel is so good that locals all come by on Saturday night. Staff was very nice. I stayed at this location before it was a Marriott property and will say the changes were lovely. I highly reccommend!
