We stayed for a week. Upon check in we had to request another room due to the room that we were assigned being dirty. Beds are uncomfortable, pillows are small. Housekeeping crew is not friendly. The on-site washer and dryer are $3.50 each. The dryer did not dry our clothes, this was after 60 minutes of dry time. Our family had a total of 3 rooms. We will not stay again. Disappointed with the hotel.

I always love staying at Ala Moana Hotel. However, this time the air conditioning filter may have not been cleaned or changed. Or I may be allergic to the room I stayed in, but every time I entered the room I would have an allergy attack. Never happened before. And the room temperature was too cold even if I made the temperature go to 80 degrees.

This hotel is old and they need update their room. And their room is very small. The room I stay was OK, but the shower faucet had a problem. They sent people to repair it. It is very disappointed.

It is very, how can I say, when you see the rooms you think in the word AUSTERITY, very very very small rooms with nothing extra just the very plain and simple basic needs to cover, I'd rather prefer something different, it is workable if you are just looking to stay the night, take a shower and leave the room for outdoor activities, all those ingredients would make the perfect match
