Great location. I checked in around 6 pm, when it was not busy at all. They could have given more information on the property. I found out about the free activities on the last day. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and Duke's was great.

Great location. Nowhere near enough beach space or poolside seats for all the guests. We ended up driving to other beaches and never had a chance to enjoy the pool because there was never space. The noise coming into the room in the evening was LOUD. I checked the patio several times because it sounded like it was wide open even though it wasnt. The shower was awful, seemed like a vinyl type of insert that popped when you move your feet. The shower head was also weird, more like a hand held sprayer and less like a shower. The room was very clean upon checkin and we had no issues with staff or valet. The restaurants on site were laid back and food quality was good. Despite the minimal flaws, I would recommend staying here, especially with kids!

We stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Resort 8 years ago and loved it. We booked this resort again and loved it more. Close to everything. You walk everywhere. Resort is right on the beach. You can rent ocean front lounge chairs. Get to beach early so they are not sold out or I waited in line by 7:30am to reserve my spot for get free pool loungers. Resort has changed a little from the past as now you have to use your key card for safely to enter the elevator to go to your room. That was great!! ABC store right inside resort. That was a daily use to purchase items for me. Very useful. Lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. I will stay here again on my next adventure.

Such a great hotel on the beach…. So much shopping and eating options all very walkable. Only downfall is there is no Hot tub…. We stayed in a club room with free breakfast and cocktail hour, well worth it if your not a picky eater.

The property is in the perfect location, right on the beach. My only gripe was staff not being familiar with the parking policy. The front desk told me the ONLY place to park was to valet for $62/day. The valet then told me I could park for free a block away if I validated parking with the front desk and handed me a formal map to the parking garage. I chose to park there for the remainder of the week only to be told by a different front desk person that it was also $62/day to park their with validation. This secondary garage charges $45/day, so essentially, Outrigger wanted to cash in on the $17/day difference and I told them that was quite "scammy" for a supposedly reputable hotel. They ended up removing the extra charges but it was frustrating to think I was parking for free all week, only to be hit with a $300 parking bill
