"Courtyard Waikiki "
Service was very good, bar small but a lot of fun and the pool was great. Pool hours very good staying open late and early. Rear Hotel not as nice and rooms on the street side were noisy. Pool side rooms are much better. Coffee shop and food was good and reasonably priced. As prices are very reasonable it is a bargan.

"Beautiful old hotel. Pity about the queue. "
This is a beautiful old hotel right on the beach in Waikiki. Most is good - including location, hotel and rooms. Only negatives are: * Huge queues for check in and check out (they really need more front desk staff). After a long flight its torture. * Rooms are tight on the small size. Maybe to be expected for old hotel. Note to management: Fix the bug in express check out to allow people entitled to late checkout to express check out. If you are having staffing problems as you obviously are, this would help.

"Best Trip Ever!"
One of the reasons we love this hotel is because we are always treated like family. Thank you to Mike Nakada, Roland, Evelyn Alanda and Lawrence. They were all very helpful and attentive. The reason we return. Chuck and the beach services staff are friendly and accommodating on the best beach on Waikiki. It is so relaxing just to sit and enjoy the view. The tower view of the ocean and Diamond Head is amazing. The sunset is beautiful. We love the historic section of this hotel, but the tower is a fun change of pace. We absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Oahu. It is peaceful and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Mahalo to our Hawaiian family.

"Spring Vacation"
We spent a week at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki. We chose it specifically because we wanted a variety of activities and it's centralized location, knowing it was more touristy than other Hawaiian locations. Specifically for the hotel: The lobby and throughout a lot the public space was under renovation. You have scaffolding and crew working all day and parts of the evening. From the looks of things, once they are complete, the hotel will look pretty nice. It was just a bit annoying to have to walk around the construction to avoid breathing in the spackling dust. The other negative was the ability to go from floor to floor. (ie. hotel room on the normal floors,Laundry room on 4th floor, Pool on 3rd floor, Lobby on 2nd floor and take an escalator from Lobby to street level). The elevators are very packed and There are escalators to go between street up to 3rd floor, but they were no operational due to renovations. This made waiting for the elevators to go one floor very annoying.

"Excellent hotel!"
My husband and I decided to splurge a bit on our first trip to Hawaii, and chose the Halekulani. It turned out to be an excellent choice!! The location was perfect in every way, and although we booked a courtyard view room, we not only had a beautiful courtyard view, but also a perfect ocean view as well. From the spacious balcony of our room, we were able to easily view the ocean, and even had the nice surprise of fireworks when we returned to our room from dinner our last night there. The service at the Halekulani is unsurpassed, and I looked forward to our little gifts left for us each night. When we arrived at our room the first day, we had chocolates and fruit waiting for us. Later that afternoon we were surprised with a complimentary bottle of champagne. I highly recommend the Halekulani, even though the cost is considerable higher than many of the other hotels.

Car horns, alarm squeals, and microwave beeps— the chorus of everyday life. What if you could trade this away for the thumps of waterfalls and strums of ukuleles? Wander to the neighborhood of Kapolei on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Considered Oahu’s “Second City," it’s the place to eat tropical SPAM without judgement and breaststroke in the ocean alongside sea turtles. There’s no daily schedule or plan here, only coconut cocktails at Paradise Cove Luau and pretty views of the sparkling shores nudging the city skyline. Take your pick of cheap hotels in Kapolei and get ready for the good life.

    Visiting Kapolei

Get into the swing of things by picking up a putter. The Ko Olina Golf Club is more than ready for you to swing and putt your way to glory. After you’ve racked up the birdies and eagles against your fellow travelers, it’s time to cool off. Slip into your choice of Kapolei rental cars, roll down the top, and head to Wet’n’Wild Hawaii, the only water park on the islands. Here, you’ll find all walks of life reliving childhood as they barrel down the colorful slides to the bubbling pools below. Of course, you can also spend your vacation poolside at your Kapolei hotel, with a fruity drink in hand and big hat bouncing back sunrays. And remember, if you want to island hop to Maui for an extended vacation, we can offer you deals on hotels in Maui, too.
