My wife and I recently stayed at the InterContinental Presidente Cozumel Resort for nine nights. This was our first time at an InterContinental. After a very long and challenging day getting to Cozumel and a fairly late arrival, we were taken care of splendidly from the moment we arrived to our departure. The check-in process was simple but thorough as was checking out. All aspects of our stay were so well accommodated, from the well-kept grounds and housekeeping, to the staff at the great restaurants and bars. We ate and drank at three of the four onsite restaurants and we both can say we did not have a disappointing bite, and also enjoyed our share of dry and dusty vodka martinis made to order, along with a plethora of wine choices. The food was wonderful and the portions more than reasonable. The chefs and dining staff at the El Caribeño, Alfredo Di Roma Trattoria, and Le Cap Beach Club are so professional and personable at the same time. We also spent a morning at the Ikal Spa where we enjoyed various treatments from pedicure to facials and massage. Again, the treatment and service was over the top. My comment to the spa was that the masseuse "melted me." Finally, we required the services of the Conciergeries several times and always felt confident about the information we received and how they went out of their way to ensure our comfort. All of the staff is amazing, they are what makes the place work, and we hope the Intercontinental Presidente recognizes that.

Beautiful property. We upgraded from a king ocean view to a king reef view for $90 per night. Total waste of $450. View is no different. The food and drinks are great but also very expensive. This is NOT an all inclusive so my wife and I added another $2300 to our 5 day stay. We went with friends and many of us returned with hundreds of bites. This is not an exaggeration - hundreds. Mine were so bad on my ankles, legs, hips, back, arms, shoulders, and neck that I went to urgent care after 2 days of itching that would not stop. Nurse practitioner said it was bed bugs. That's what I thought too but to be fair, there's no definitive test. Could also be fleas, sand fleas, sand lice, and other fun options. Regardless of what it was, I think bed bugs, its is a really nasty way to end a trip. It has been a full week now and these things have not cleared up after a steroid shot, steroid cream, steroid pills, a tube and a half of topical Benadryl, literally every 2 hours to help stop the itching. We received 3 WhatsApp messages form the hotel while we were on property informing us they are doing "routine fumigation" around the property. They are definitely aware of the problem but you won't get them to admit it. Shady. Too bad, cool little spot if you want to look past a week of misery for going there.

This is my second time at this hotel and it’s officially my favorite in Cozumel! Epic tropical landscaping lead you to a very modern hotel with a very welcoming staff ! Rooms are impeccably clean, large and recently remodeled! The breakfast buffet has been improved since last and was totally worth it! Awesome is right offshore of the beach ! I would 110% recommend and will absolutely be back! Side note the tennis court is one of coolest ones I have ever seen

This place never disappoints! Beautiful, clean, amazing service! Upgraded us for a cheap price. Snorkeling is top notch right at the hotel. Saw multiple sting ray, puffer fish, lion fish, and even a nurse shark! Love it here!

one thing that stands out is the housekeeping staff and service. They kept the rooms clean and were very thorough. They kept the room stocked when the necessities...we never had to request for toilet paper, clean towels, or water.
