This property is at excellent level. Very friendly staff, quality foods, great sceneries, 5ft pools, and more. But you may consider some tips before picking this hotel complex. 1- buildings are located far from lobby/restaurants. so, you will need a (free) cart ride to get there. The wait time for those carts was 15 to 45 minutes, depending on day and time. 2- The beach was not swimmable at this season. There were plenty of sea weeds and floating sands that makes it look nasty. 3- If you're coming through Cozumel's airport, allow more than 2 hours for transportation. Ferry leaves every 30 min. 4- Restaurants only serve dinner. For lunch (and breakfast of course) you may use one of the buffets. All in all, the hotel is located in a very beautiful land and maintains high quality standards for everything they offer.

MOST of the staff and workers did amazing with what they were able. We truly were spoiled by our room service, house cleaning , Aaron and Rogelio ( the butlers) and food staff! However a tad irritated with some things communicated by the office. purchased a room that was sizable for my family online and instead got downgraded to one bed and a hard as a rock pull out couch. (Told no guarantee on rooms and subject to availability) . Tried to make the best out of it but after five days, your body aches tend to come in full force. Beach was completely unusable. Like completely. I understand nature is unpredictable (seaweed) but refusing to have any compensation or offer alternative transportation to another beach for even a limited time is crazy when working in hospitality and promoting the resort. We were all very disappointed by not just the no beach (not their fault) but them not wanting to help us get to/from a usable one. They just kept saying “not our fault” . It’s not mine either :/ but I’m not running a resort that promotes beach access and thrives on happy guests. All in all - the actual place is beautiful and people are so friendly. Just don’t expect the “higher ups” to care should you have an issue.

Family Selection upgrade was totally worth it! My husband and I traveled with our 15 & 11 year old children. We had a beautiful ambassador suite with lots of space for all of us. There is a pull out sofa bed that my kids had to share - it was not big enough at all and there is no option for a roll away bed. The shower set up is strange, it leaked water from under the door and left a giant puddle every time someone used it. I was nervous that someone would slip. Housekeeping was fantastic. We always had clean towels, blankets and sheets. The most brilliant part of this resort is the butler service! Edmundo was especially great to us. They were all so attentive to our needs and requests. Being available on WhatsApp it made it so easy. They even helped set up an excursion via WhatsApp! Absolutely the best part of this resort! The property is huge but so easy to get around. We never waited more than 5 minutes for a cart to take us to our requested part of the resort. The pools were nice (very deep!) however the swim up bar could have had some better customer service. It was disappointing that the beach was not usable but no fault of the resort. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again in the future!

We loved our stay! There was a wide variety of activities, including a daily soccer game my boys joined several times. Family selection areas were great- we especially enjoyed the pool and bar/food options there. We booked a junior suite with private rooftop pool which had a beautiful view and great privacy. Our butlers were attentive, the service in the restaurants was excellent, check in and check out was seamless. We had a couples massage in the spa and our sons enjoyed the junior club while we relaxed on our own. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly visit other Palladium resorts!

Toda nuestra experiencia se arruinó gracias a la encargada de recepción de la sección Family Selection, me parece que su nombre es Lenny, desde el inicio a la llegada pedimos que nos entregue la habitación si era posible un poco antes, porque veníamos cansados de viajar y nos dijo que el check in es entre 3 y 3:30, esto lo entendimos y esperamos el tiempo indicado por la plataforma 3pm, sin embargo pese a que la habitación estaba lista ella se esperó hasta que nosotros nos acerquemos para darnos el check-in, teniéndonos enfrente no tuvo la cordialidad de acercarse a informarnos. Nuestro check-out fue también con ella, y pedimos media hora de late check-out aun que sea pagando por medio día, sin embargo se cerró a negarnos nuevamente la solicitud y obligándonos a dejar la habitación a las 12pm. Su razón fue por ocupación en la habitación, he sido hotelero por más de 15 años y se que de haber querido ella hubiera podido atender a nuestra solicitud, asignando a la llegada a otra habitación en lugar de la nuestra, pero su falta de cordialidad y sensibilidad por atención al cliente no le permitió ver esto, cabe mencionar que revise en línea y nuestra misma categoría estaba disponible para reservar, por lo cual era evitende que nada más no nos quería ayudar.

Excellent service from start to finish. Our kids loved the swim up room in the Family Selection. Our room butler made our reservations for dinner and helped with anything we needed. The property was convenient to where we want to go. Driving was easy as most places were off the same highway. Would recommend if you are traveling to the Riviera Maya area!

It was great We had a beach suite and Manuel and Lewis our butlers were awesome. Rooms were clean, good was great. Pools were clean. Will Donatello be back soon.

This is by far the best resort in Riviera Maya! This was our second time there and we will be back. The property is stunning. Natural mangroves run all throughout. The walking on the grounds is beautiful. You have access to all four properties no matter which one you stay at. We love Kantenah, but Colonial and White Sands are equally great. The room was more than we ever expected! THE FOOD! OMG it’s amazing. Highly recommend El Gaucho in the TRS side. It’s the best food I’ve ever eaten. The staff is so friendly and helpful bi matter their job. Me went July 2025 and the beach was not great due to the sargassum right now. That is NO FAULT of the resort. They do the best they can to keep it cleaned up, it was just a bad year for it. The time we went before the beach was wonderful. There are so many options for pools that we didn’t feel like we were missing out. Another perk is the entertainment at the Colonial lobby theater. Overall, Grand Palladium has our hearts! We can’t wait to go back.
