"Room 27164. Newly refurbished, nice size, quiet."
I started reading the reviews of others AFTER I had booked a FAB Deluxe room for my wife & I through Travelocity. Fortunately, the concern I had thanks to those reviews was not realized during our stay. We arrived on a Saturday shortly after Noon. There were several others in line to check in, but we only waited about 45 minutes or so. Not so bad. The room was clean, spacious, had plenty of storage room for clothing, bed was very comfortable, pillows fluffy, drapes did a great job of blocking daylight and the room was quiet. The hallway to our room had new carpet (you could still smell it) and the ice & soda machine at the end of the hall worked without fail. Checkout was no problem as we only waited for about 15 minutes. There were a couple of occasions when we had to wait several minutes for an elevator, but those times were mid/late morning when so many people were packed on with their luggage looking to check out and be on their way home. All of the elevators in the Habitat wing were working, but when you have that many people wanting to use them you have to wait your turn. Again, that only happened a couple of times out of a seven day stay. The staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the in-room coffee maker, refrigerator and safe. The combo shower/tub had great water pressure with lots of hot water.All-in-all, a very pleasant stay.

    "Disappointed"
This was the second year in a row I brought my mom to celebrate her birthday (last year was her 90th) The young lady who checked us in last year was very friendly-asked us if this was a special occasion-when I told yes-she gave us buffet passes and had chocolates sent to the room-this year-totally opposite-the young man checking us in immediately informed us that the double bed fountain view room that i had booked and paid for 2 months earlier was not available and that all he could offer was a mountain view room or he did have a double bed on the smoking floor or a king size bed that we could use that night and hope to be moved to a double bed room the next day if we wanted to take a chance. How can a supposedly upscale hotel as the Bellagio not reserve the room that you had already paid for in advance? When I told him I didn't understand why this was happening he was very short with me and said "booking a particular room does not quarantee that room? Seriously? They didn't have a problem taking my money for a "specific" room. My mom was getting anxious and was so tired from traveling, that we just took the room on the smoking floor (she really wanted the fountain view room). BIG mistake-the safe even REEKED of smoke and we had to spray it with Lysol everyday and our room was next to the last room on the hall from the elevators, so a bit of a trek for my mom every day. Also no buffet passes, no candy-nothing like the year before. This was such a let down from the previous y

"Great place to stay in Vegas...if you got a deal."
I enjoyed the overall stay at Treasure Island or T.I. as they now like to call themselves. The trip started with a late night check in that was less than perfect. The room I had reserved on Travelocity was not available so we ended up in a double room instead of with the king room we booked. I could have made an issue but I didnt and the agent offered to change us to a king room the next day but who wants to move rooms after you've checked in? Anyway, the hotel is in the middle of everything on the strip so sight seeing and getting around was easy and fun. The in house restaurants were a disappointment because they were either mid grade and over priced or just plain over priced...but in their defense, the buffet was absolutely awesome. There was no coffee maker in the room but there was a Starbucks in the retail hall downstairs. Its an easy hotel to be at if you're not interested in too much interaction with staff and just want to be left to do your own thing. I liked that. I also felt very safe because during most of the day there was a security officer checking for room cards at the elevator bay so non guests could not get upstairs. They also have free self parking in addition to the usual valet and excellent taxi service right outside the lobby.

    "Good stay near the action"
The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Nice location near the main casinos that are linked together. Got d hotel staff and honored my room request location. Only downside is that the layout is confusing.
