Basic Motel 6 with clean room that was quiet despite being next to a busy street. Convenient for sightseeing in Virginia City and taking a Virginia and Truckee Railroad excursion.

We were in a double bed room, I'm sure the room was made as a one bed. It was so crowded for 2 people. also the air conditioner made so much noise , it was hard to sleep. The 2nd night , we opened the window so as not to use the air conditioner. There was no screen, and no one could get us one. I was very disappointed in the room, It was supposed to be a deluxe room, Now way was it. Maybe Motel 6 doesn't know what deluxe is. Sure wasn't worth the money it cost to stay there. And we won't be staying there again.

We we arrived at the hotel, we noticethe parking lot was closed, due a re pavement fix. The whole parking lot was close, we have to park in the street. Also check in attending was rude, . I check for no smoking room and smells like old tobacco. , restroom floor dirty , we see hair from others customers,and bathroom looks very old. a/c air smell like egg, nasty smell. And dusty on top. Bed was very small.. They have to specify more about this property.and the room rentals. Not happy with this room we try to change and the person at the front desk refuse and said I can't youhave to call the manager. This is thelast time in this and all hotel 6. I will never choose this company.

All entrances were blocked off with signs saying parking lot closed until 7/12. I arrived the 14th. Staff was not helpful especially that they booked me in a room almost as far from the main street as could be. Low pressure in the shower but high pressure for the toilet, weird. If you are staying for one night and the parking lot is open, not a bad place to stay. Or if you have dogs, good place to stay. Not very nice but when you need a motel it ia bot bad.
