No double lock on door and it led to the outside. First room toilet didn't flush. 2nd room smelled so bad. I had a asthma attack from the smell. I had to leave one night early as I could not stay there anymore.

Toilet didn't flush in first room. In 2nd room smelled so bad I had an asthma attack. Could not stay the 2nd night had to leave and forfeit my fee. No double lock on door that led to outside. Very unsafe. Was so dark not adequate lighting in the rooms. Very old and bad place to stay.

Overnight stay between ski days at Diamond Peak.

Great cheap place to crash after a day of skiing. Breakfast was suitable and kept well stocked.

While inexpensive and in the center of town, the hotel is rough. The mattresses were very hard but generally all right. I would have liked another blanket. The breakfast was very plain but well stocked. Nothing fancy at all. Just functional and inexpensive.

A good buy

This place was very nice. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly with a homey touch that made it seem they really cared about you. The room was nice and clean. It’s not luxurious but we didn’t want that-we just wanted a nice, clean room to stay overnight. This place fits the bill-a good deal for the money. And, to top it off, a nice breakfast-although they could use a new toaster that works faster.

Staff was pleasant. One side of building doesn’t overlook parking lot (ie parking spaces to keep an eye on car so had to bring all luggage in with me for the night. Also, $100 deposit is hassle for verifying it is removed later. Should provide option to look over room at checkout for those desiring it.

Horrible, disgusting

This place is horrible. There were creepy people standing outside when I arrived. When I got into my room the heat was set to eighty six! I told the women at the front desk and she couldn’t have cared less. I had to leave and come back. It was still hot, luckily I could open the window. I just hoped the creepy people didn’t come in. The room was gross. Again I just hoped there weren’t bed bugs. I had the unfortunate luck of getting my period in the night and I was charged for room damages as a result of it! I would never stay here again. I would rather sleep in my vehicle if I’m ever stuck in Carson again. Worse customer service ever. Do not recommend.
