Good location.

I like staying there, nice hotel, location is good for getting around. Only bad thing is so many people trying to sell you the time shares. I counted one day we were stopped inside the casino 12 times by the people trying to sell timeshares, and they do not want to hear no. It gets old fast.

Ok hotel, good location

Hotel is in a good location, easy to get to nearby hotels. Hotel itself is only average. Paid at checkin for upgraded room, only $10 per night extra, not sure what that got me. Room was only ok, had older hotel room feel but ok for the price and location.

Decent Hotel nice elevator

We’ve stayed there 3 times in 20 years. Married there 20 years ago. The hotel room was a bit dated, not enough electrical plugs in convenient places. The air conditioner was loud, had to be moved to another room. Room was clean, maids did a good job daily. We will use a different hotel next time we go.

For being the best deal I could find to Vegas I wasn't sure what to expect, but we were very happy with Excalibur. And my husband won a $1600 jackpot in their Casino.

Communication issues

I reserved 5 rooms at the Excalibur Hotel for 4 nights (12/5 - 12/9/2017), upon arrive the front desk agent (Joanna) stated she only had confirmation for 4 rooms, even though I gave her a copy of the confirmation/reservation that I received from Travelocity. Joanna then called Travelocity/Expedia for information regarding our accommodations, where EJ confirmed the reservation and spoke myself as well stating that he would fax the necessary confirmation number to the hotel. Joanna said she would follow up with the hotel manager and everything would be corrected and I should not have a problem. Needless to say the problem had just started, the next night (Wednesday) 12/06/17 upon returning from our outing without notice, we were locked out of our room and had to return to the front desk again because “Jimmy” stated confirmation number from Expedia had not been faxed. I was given new keys cards by Jimmy, he apologized and said manager would take care of everything. On Thursday (12/07/17) night, again without notice I was locked out of my room again, I returned to the desk and asked for the manager and was greeted by “Henny” who was the first person that appeared to have any sympathy or knowledge about what to do, he explained what happened by reading from the computer in front of him apologized gave me key cards told me I would receive comps for resort fees. So far I have not received anything from Excalibur regarding resort fees. I was very disappointed with the Excalibur.

Find another place to stay.

As soon as we walked in, the whole place smelled really bad. The rooms are outdated and a tad bit dirty. I have stayed in several resorts on the strip and the Excalibur is without a doubt the worst.

Excalibur Hotel and Casino

We stayed during The Christmas holiday. The entire city and hotel was super busy, but the staff took great care of everything; cleaning, service, and hospitality.

No king bed

Booked a king bed suite and they couldn't give it to me. staff was very rude and said that I had to deal with what was given to me. Room was not clean very well. They don't have coffee makers even after request. If you want a fridge it costs an extra 25$ per day. Lots of other cheap options on the strip that are more bang for your buck and much better service
