Reseved and paid for KING SIZE room..NO availability for king size room they told us not until the next day. Which still was NOT availability the following day.I only book king size rooms, I would have never book this hotel if they did not have the room to other for the whole time we were staying. They offered to change our room the third night to another section of the hotel. which by then I was already Pissed off... So either Travelocity miss lead on availability or hotel DID! Second issue for coffee in the morning they have a small star bucks and a pastry shop.EVERY MORNING it took a least 40 to 60 minutes to get a coffee or tea ! RIDICULOUS the one morning they had three people working the coffee shop, they could have used 10 people that morning.. You can pre order from your room and pick up but when we did that the coffee was COLD! had to wait another 15 minutes! You have to show your key for entering the pool area which is fine but the staff makes you feel that you are doing something wrong, they check your bags and you are not allowed to bring any drinks or food of your own in that area. I had to throw out two bottles of orange juice that I paid 6 dollars for. We have been going to Vegas for 20 years now and like to try all the hotels, would I recommend, NO!

Some minor problems

Cons: Response to requests.
great check in experience, great room. a few problems over our four night stay. I was told they would send something to the room at check in, I asked for a change of batteries for the TV remote as it wasn't working neither of these things happened. One night after our midnight return to the room it hadn't been cleaned. When contacted they said it was on their list as being done. They were apologetic and offered to send someone up to clean which we refused due to the late hour. I called back and asked for new towels which they brought up quickly. I stayed here when they first opened and just had the feeling it wasn't as responsive to needs as it was then. Although there were these few "problems" all in all a great place to stay.

Facility

The room was beautiful and very high tech. The room was cleaned daily. You had a tablet to help you not only explore the hotel, but also Vegas in general. The tablet also controlled the lighting, curtains, room temperature, television, and much more.

Nice hotel, good location

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Have more staff to help guests check in
Location: Located in the middle of the strip, most things are within walking distance.
Pros: 1) The hotel is very clean and well kept up, everything looks new 2) It's in a great location on the middle of the strip, everything is close by Cons: 1) It took almost an hour to check in, the line was long and they only had a few staff members to assist guests. 2) The drinks are very expensive. We ended up walking across the street to Twin Peaks for drinks, much more reasonably priced. ($6 for margs and bloody Mary's)

Great Room but Nothing Else Great

I had a last minute business trip to Las Vegas and after talking with friends, decided to stay at the Aria. The rate was good (except for the ridiculous scam of resort fees) so opted for it instead of my usual Pallazo. The first issue was room location. Literally, the last room on the hallway that felt like a 2 block walk -- a real beating when dragging a heavy carry on and briefcase. The room was nice and luxurious. I had a good, but not great steak at Jean George. The big disappointment was breakfast the next morning at the Buffet. $30 and I should have known better. Everything I tasted was cold and stale at 7:30 a.m. I have had better buffets at Westins or Sheratons. All and all, a meh experience which is not expected at a 5 star hotel.
