We had requested a room closer to the elevator for my elderly mom and that request was not accommodated. Also, the check-in agent did not give any information regarding restaurants and what was open, etc.… My mom is on a walker so it was problematic walking around, trying to find open restaurants. Usually when you check in there is some thought given about the amenities and what is open when and where… Comparable to New York, New York and other properties we have stayed at this was below expectations. Also, the resort itself doesn’t really have any moderately priced sitdown dinners… We were directed to a restaurant that had $46 burgers so that really did not fulfill what we were looking for. The gym was hidden in the basement and dark and a little bit dank compared to what it could be and seemed like an afterthought. We also did not love that. There is no security on the elevator meeting. Anybody from the casino can go to any floor at any time.

Location was excellent, upgraded room overlooking the sphere and high roller was fun except the room windows overlooking were so dirty it ruined all the pictures, disappointed in that. Pool was just OK super far walk from the room and not scenic at all but still felt refreshing on a hot afternoon.

I understand the need to charge resort fees. What I dont understand is why this cost is not part of the price at the time of booking. This point aside, why do I have to pay a resort fee when the swimming pool was closed, bottle water cost over nine dollars, internet and phone charges when this services is not needed, and this is Vegas so no need for a gym. Vegas has lost its value and hotels are expensive.
