The Luxor was relatively clean, and the room was nice if a little dated. The parking and check-in was not explained beforehand and was not intuitive at all. Luckily, someone who had been there before explained where the check-in desk was, but there were only a few clerks checking people in. I literally stood in line for 45+ minutes with several other people before I tried to scan the QR code for digital check-in. Once I did that, it was relatively easy, but it would have helped to get some idea before arrival of how check-in worked. The videos playing by the check-in desk are not kid friendly, so be aware of that.
My other main issue was the parking. Whether you are there for 1 minute or 24 hours, you will pay $20 to self-park. Well, I had a show to attend at a different casino, so I had to leave about 30 minutes after parking to get to the show on time. Of course, it cost $20 on the way out, and another $20 the next day on check out. The other casino hotel where the show was had a "first 3 hours free" parking system, which I thought was much better.
