Beautiful and Large Hotel

Pros: The restaurants and what it had to offer. I also like the size of the room.
Cons: A bigger pool. Lots of people come but small pool.
Location: A 3-5 minute drive to the Strip.
This hotel is amazing. It offers good restaurants and buffets. Offers lots of parking space, and the rooms are big. Offers nice attractions for kids and adults and for families.

Nice location

Very relaxing stay. Housekeeping responded quickly to our needs. Enjoyed comedy nite. My kids had thing to do like watching movies or going bowling and swimming in the pool.

One of the best hotels off the strip

First time going to Vegas and staying here was definitely the right choice. The hotel has everything you would expect in a top line hotel. Worth its value every bit. The rooms were bigger than I expected. Their restaurants have some great choice of delicious foods. The outdoor pool was excellent. The hotel and casino staff service was attentive and pleasant. Only downside is that is a bit off the strip. Had to rent a car to get around town. The hotel is around 15 minutes from the strip center. Despite this I enjoyed every bit of the stay there and would definitely go back.

Avoid this hotel at all costs

Terrible. MILES from the Vegas strip, no matter what Travelocity says. Outdated rooms with A/C that barely works. Outdated pool area. Despite listing on-site bowling as an amenity, the hotel allowed the entire bowling facility to be booked for a tournament during the week of our stay, so guests couldn't bowl. Old room service dishes left in hallway not picked up all week. Disgusting. Avoid this dump.

Hotel that contains its own town

Comfortable and clean hotel that contains almost everything including 2 bowling centers, a theater, bingo parlor, shops, pool, spa, restaurants, arcade, and the list goes on. Had a great stay.

Family Reunion

We stayed here because it was close to a family members home and the prices were great. It was just south of the airport, but still a straight shot to the strip. Lots to do for the kids. I may be a bit spoiled because I've stayed at some of the bigger hotels on the strip and this hotel is not to that caliber, but it worked well for our occasion.

Massive property, had fun @ 112°

Pros: Clean and well cooled (112° outside). It is a long way from the "strip", but it had lots of things to keep all ages entertained.
Cons: Tap water was barely palatable (use bottled water for coffee and drinking)
Location: I was there to bowl in the national tournament. Never left the property and saw a movie, horse show and ate at 5 different places.
The South Point hosted the national bowling tournament in 2017. I was just in Vegas to bowl and the property had enough interesting things to do in the off hours that I enjoyed my time there. It was 112° outside, so I didn't spend much time by the pool and there were plenty of cold drinks available.

Would stay again!

We enjoyed the variety of restaurants and it was a great place to stay with the kids with the bowling and the movie theater. The resort fees were kind of high though.

Nothing fancy

Pros: Was where we bowled so didn't have to travel. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Bigger, tastier buffet. More older slots from say maybe 5 years ago. Better access to bowling (USBC).
Location: Nothing to close so needed to rent a car to do things.
Just like the title nothing fancy. Room was ok and had a lot of room but didn't like the way the casino floor was set up. We do hate Nevada for their resort fee BS. You have to pay even if you don't use it. Just another way for the state to screw travelers.

Great Hotel!

Pros: Variety of things to do.
Cons: Everything was great.
Location: I never left Southpoint!
First time to stay at Southpoint and I will stay here every year on my way to California from Colorado. Wonderful experience, everything you could want: excellent restaurants, movie theater, variety of slots, bowling, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, reasonable price.
