The check in from the car valet service, to getting a luggage cart to actually getting our room key took over an hour and 20 minutes and it wasn't busy. There was literally no one in line at the check-in counter in front of us, and then it took another hour for our luggage to arrive at our room. Once in our room, we were disturbed three times by security, asking to check the room to make sure that there were no weapons in the room because there was a marathon going on. We don't own any weapons, and we have no criminal histories. We told the security we wanted our privacy and without a search warrant, they shouldn't be allowed to come into to our room and they told us that they would just kick us out of the hotel unless we let them search our room - and that they were doing this to every guest room. It was a total invasion of privacy. Also, you should know if you're bringing a car it's $50 extra a night, to park at the hotel. Nice looking hotel ... terrible service.

I’ve stayed here before. The previous times I stayed here, the rates were reasonable. This time everything from room prices to eating were insanely high. Three cocktails - $150.00; dinner for five people, almost $1000.00; and table minimum bets at $25.00 per hand. I won’t stay here again.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Our room looked over the fountain and down the strip, was beautiful at night and day. Room was so clean and comfortable no complaints.

The room was huge and spotless. I always get a room with 2 queens, even if it's just me traveling. This rooms was big enough to play catch in if we wanted to. But the hotel and restraunts are also fantastic as well. Beauty and Essex is one of the hidden gem places to dine. One of the many appetizers we had before main course was the smoked bacon, tomato soup dumplings. It was so good. My only complaint was the check in was fumbled a little. My key didn't work for the door so they gave me a different room and sent a tech to check the batteries in the door lock. Maybe that's why the replacement room was so big. Beautiful place. Friendly staff.

Initially, I requested an early check-in, which was refused not even for one hour. However, at 3:45 PM, I was told that my room was still not ready, even though my scheduled check-in time was 3:00 PM. The staff informed me that sometimes check-in can be delayed until as late as 11:00 PM and that they could not guarantee a room. I was then told that if I wanted to check in immediately, I would need to pay extra for an upgrade, which I did not want. Unfortunately, I had a conference and meetings to attend, so I was left with no other option. Room service also had a wait time of 120 minutes. Overall, I definitely did not receive the level of service expected for the amount I paid. I will not be returning to this property and would not recommend it. I have been using Expedia for a long time, and this is the first time I have had such a poor experience.
