We always stay at the Westgate each year. This year unfortunately since we are smokers and smoking is on the 12th floor we had to make a move in the middle of our trip. Our trip was 10 days on the 5th day we had to change rooms as they were putting new carpeting on the 12th floor. Well I thought it would be a wasted day but the transition was done so smoothly that we were very pleased and it really didn't disrupt our trip that much. The westgate accomodated us for our included breakfast considering the buffet was closed. They gave us vouchers for eating. I feel this is one of the best ways to keep a customer coming back by always having a good back up plan. We love the WESTGATE and highly recommend it. The staff are amazing...

Good hotel but be prepared for extra costs

Pros: Remodeled room, Nice hotel staff, decent breakfast buffet.
Cons: Include everything in room price if you are going to require the fee anyway.
Location: Monorail stops at this hotel so you can get to the action fairly easy. There is a cost for the monorail.
The hotel itself is good. Older, but the room had a decent remodel done. What I did not like were the amenities fee that was charged for the pool, fitness center and wifi. We had no interest in the pool or fitness center and 34.++ per day for wifi that is typically free was a little much. When we asked about just paying the 15.95 for just wifi we were told we had to pay the whole amount. Casino was good with the exception of the person wrote my husbands SSN# on a schedule when he hit a large win, then she got mad when he wanted the piece of paper so she wasn't carrying it around all night. She claimed to be a manger too.

Hotel Deliverance..

Pros: Cabana Pool, Buffet Food and convenience of being away from the Strip. Very peaceful. e Hotel Desk Staff 100% Excellent-want to serve you. Refreshing!
Cons: Give guest who request Coffee maker in rooms. Bathroom Lighting hard on eyes and hard to apply makeup for women please correct.
Location: Location is off the strip but close enough to get to by Uber or Monorail. Plenty to do shows, tours and vegas strip of course.
The hotel room assigned was woefully inadequate with egg smell water, construction on our floor and poor room lighting. Management complied and changed room immediately the next day. New room was wonderful and comfortable! No coffee pot or microwave in the room. Request a coffee pot when you book. Coffee lovers only! Secured the Pool Cabana-Excellent and the service too! Pool views are great Pool water is cool; Hot tub water warm. The buffet was great! The Hotel Desk Staff are 100% excellent and is the waite staff in the buffett and Syd Restaurant. The highlight of my trip: Grand Canyon Tours! Everyone should see this wonder of the USA at least once! Take the monorail to the strip its hot on Saturday night where you dress your hotest! Enjoyed my overall hotel stay and give it 4.5 stars.

It sucks u have to pay fees for stuff u don’t even use(resort fees) and they don’t have a microwave in the rooms! I wasn’t pleased at all!

Not staying there again.

The floors in the room were sticky, no towels in the room, and the customer service representative was rude. The hotel is in Vegas so we assumed that most of the services would be open late however we were informed that the pool closes at 8 p.m. don't really get to utilize the services even though they charge you a resort fee thing. Word to the wise pay very close attention to your itinerary if you are going to stay here that is the only place these Resort fees are disclosed.
