We stayed 5 days. The pool was immaculant!!! I don't think i have ever seen an outdoor pool so crystal clean!!!! The door to the pool was fine as long as you lifted up, otherwise due to the sagging the latch would stick hard. Staff member smiled and greeted us. They seemed genuine. When i asked for anyhing each was obliging. The breakfasts were tasty with varieties of choices and hot coffee all day. Some sweets on dfferent days. Holloween decorations as soon as you entered. I understand each facility makes their choices on decorations but we had just come from another hampton inn and suites in Arizona the night before with a pool and hot tub indoor. Each place definately have their perks to enjoy. We were happy with both stays as we drove from east side of new mexico through arizona to Las Vegas to get married and stay for 3 days of NHRA racing. My husband worked several years for Ford and as a mechanic for many years never seeing the races Live we had to make it. A long time friend of his lived in vegas about 15 years ago for about 10 years. He would never had left were it not for his family. He and one of my sons joined us to share our day. Thank goodness for the friend we may not have gotten my boy. Thats another review for something else.... Maybe it was my mindset or maybe the people and places were incredible. We'll find out next year when we go back for anniversary and races! So someone from Hamptons Las Vegas/Speedway email, call or text me. or i will be in touch. TIA

There was no hot water, none at all the evening of check-in or the morning of check-out. At best it was room temp hot water. Otherwise it was a good stay. The staff did give a 50% credit due to the lack of hot water. We will stay again.

Customer Service Is A Thing of the Past

Pros: It was near family.
Cons: Customer service needs an over haul.
Location: Family was close by and easy to get to
Customer service was not customer friendly. I left a change of clothes and was given the run around by someone named A J. I called back the same day I left. A J was not helpful in the least. I had to call six times and still did not get my clothes returned. I finally asked to speak with a manager, only to told there was none present. I knew when I left my contact information, I was not going to get a return call.

Clean and well maintained.

Location: Nothing nearby really, except for the Cannery Hotel/Casino, which is in view right down the street to the west.
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It is readily apparent that they reinvest part of their earnings into maintenance and repair ( as we arrived, the new varnish was still drying on the front desk and all the tables in the free breakfast area. Speaking of free breakfast, it was always fully stocked, even 10 minutes before closing time. Coffee, tea, and a bowl of some sort of fruit are available 24 hours a day. Room was clean and well maintained. I don't know what is the deal these days with motels and hotels . . . it's been a few years since I traveled for business regularly. Back then, if you stayed in a "decent" place like Hampton Inn, the pillows were full size (filled out whole width of bed be it king or queen) and there were almost always 4 of them per bed. Now lately I've traveled again for family reasons a few times the last year . . .in every case the pillows were very small. Such is the case here at this hotel, very small pillows with no loft at all to them, they looked "lost" on top of a king bed. Very uncomfortable! Oh, and the "free" internet is a joke. They should be honest about it and state up-front that their free internet is barely adequate to check email )if you have LOTS of patience, but it's totally inadequate to watch Netflix for example. They want $4.95 a day for "premium" internet.

LV Hotel Stay

Pros: Quiet.
Cons: Wifi is too slow.
Location: North Las Vegas location. It's a nice area if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the main city. The Cannery casino just down the road.
This hotel is in North Las Vegas - past downtown. It's a nice area if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the main city. Even though the hotel was pretty full, I was not bothered by any noise so I am assuming it's insulated very well. The rooms are a decent size and the amenities are good. The bed was very firm - maybe a little too firm. The free WiFi was slow untill I paid for an upgrade (this didn't cost much). The free breakfast was good and a coffee bar is available 24/7. The staff was helpful and the cleaning ladies were thorough and very nice.
