The outside of this hotel is beautiful! I always felt like I was walking into Main Street on Disneyland. The kids' area with arcade, merry-go-round, and mini golf is fun too. Mel's Diner is open 24/7 and has yummy meals and room service. On the downside, the hotel reeks of cigarette smoke everywhere you go! Standing in the lobby checking in with "No Smoking" signs didn't help becuase even that area reeked of cigarettes. We had a room that looked out onto the indoor pool, so every morning at 9am it got loud from kids jumping and yelling in the pool. There was some kind of discrepancy between the hotel front desk and housekeeping, because the front desk knew we were staying for 3 nights, but on the morning after our 2nd night, I was woken up by housekeeping, and when I answered the door, they didn't need or want anything. Then later they came back again saying that I was supposed to check out that day. Even though I had the reservation confirmation details, they still called several more times with more mistaken info- they tried to say that I had requested to move rooms and that's why we had to vacate our current room. I didn't appreciate being woken up for something that wasn't my issue, or the ongoing phone calls that didn't seem to resolve the issue!

The discount coupons given at check-in were not redeemable. We checked in at about 5:45 pm and went to dinner at the steakhouse and were told the dinner coupon was only valid from 4 to 5:30 We arrived at the steakhouse at 6:30. I thought that this was a cheap come on. I was directed to parking which was not available. Parked some distance to the hotel. Staff as nice and always greeted us. Hotel and Casino were clean.

We drove for eight long hours, eager to unwind at the hotel, only to find hair everywhere in the room - on the sheets, in the shower, bathtub, and even on the toilet! When I called the front desk, they refused to remake the room, offering only to bring up sheets. On top of that, the room faced into the swimming pool on the third floor where people were loud going crazy past 10pm which is unacceptable. For the price paid, this experience was beyond disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The room assigned was faraway from the casino and restaurant. The furnitures were beat up and no end table at either side of the beds. No carpet on the floor and refused to change to a room with carpet.

There were two boxes of left over food in the room when we checked in, which made the room smell terrible. The alarm clock went off at 5am in the morning and woke up us whole family, we were not able to fall back to sleep afterwards.

Strange ventilation problem. Pete and Roy weren’t able resolve problem. Had to move once it was so noisy. The second room was fine for one day but also started making noise too but not as bad as the first room. It was a vibration rattling type of sound. I heard the noise from many areas . It seems to be only near the pool. Steakhouse was nice. Food and service was very good

Great Pet Friendly Hotel
We stay here often when traveling through. Only one time did our Pet Friendly room have an obvious pet odor. Our dog does not shed or have dander, so we are not used to that at all. Most times, rooms are great. Dinner at the steakhouse is always amazing!
