I used to stay here all the time when it was Mont Blue. We asked the front desk staff if we could possible check in a little early, she told us our room was actually ready and just needed to be inspected by the housekeeping manager. We came back 1/2 hour later, as we were told and checked in. I casually asked the gal if the hotel was full for the weekend and she told me no. We went to our room, which was occupied - obviously NOT inspected by housekeeping. We got another room, which was right next to the elevators, so it was loud at all times. For the hotel not being full and originally giving us an occupied room, we were surprised they couldn’t have given us a better room. The room we had - 1027, was falling apart. Art was missing from the wall, but the wall hangers were still affixed. Corners were destroyed, walls were dirty, cabinet wouldn’t shut. Not what we paid for.

Checking in took forever. Recommend getting some automated check-ins that other large hotel casinos have. The room was large and the view was great. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny, more like throw pillows. The bathroom was beautifully done, the shower looked gorgeous, but the shower head was in rough shape and there was NO hot water.

There was a 2 hour wait to check in on a Tuesday at 4:00, only 2 employees working the counter. When we finally got the room it was not even cleaned yet. Then to top off that nightmare, THERE WAS NO HOT WATER! I was told by an employee that the hot water has been not working in the hotel for about "a month and a half"

Disappointing hotel

Dead bug in public bathroom. Several games in arcade broken. Pool not open when they say it will be open. Overrall very disappointing. We will not stay there ever again.

Longest Check-in Line Ever

We arrived at Bally's at 4:00 for our check-in time, following our reservation. We got in a very long line with only one person checking people in. At some points a second person was there. We waited in line for 1 hour and 45 minutes before finally checking in. Fortunately for us, our room was ready. Others checking in at the same time had to wait another 30-60 minutes for their rooms to be ready because they were told Bally's was short staffed on housekeeping. After we checked in, the line behind us was even longer than it was when we were in line. No additional staff ever sent to help the two people who were helping the people in line. No one offered an apology aside from them passing out a bottle of water to the people still waiting in line when we left. Once we got to our room, we were happy with the cleanliness and the size. We also appreciated how close it is to the Tahoe Blue Event Center which is why we stayed there. But, next time, we will be willing to stay a little further away for better customer service.
