I like the location. It's easy to get into town. What I didn't like about the property is that the beds are the most uncomfortable things I have ever slept on. It is like sleeping on a concrete floor. The food was horrible. I have been to a lot of resorts in Cozumel and by far the food at the Grand Park Royal was the worst I have ever experienced. The maid service was hit and miss. Sometimes they would leave Coffee, sometimes they wouldn't. Sometimes they would leave hand towels, sometimes they wouldn't. I would NOT recommend this property. The chair saving was crazy. Sometimes there were chairs saved for over 2 hours with no one ever using them. They need more chairs.

The staff was very nice the facility was horrible over but food was absolutely horrible I will never go there again please take me off your email list don’t ever send me another email again biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent my life

I’ve stayed several times and it has always been in a nutshell, a pleasant experience. This trip I felt like there was more things “absent”. The buffet restaurant use to be a place you could rely on to find something you like. The choices were much less at all 3 times of day and selection was not the greatest. So food was an issue for me this time here, first time ever.

Great beach area and the foam party was fun. Food wasn't very good. French fries were always cold for example. Biggest complaints are the noise and hard to get reservations in the restaurants.

Hotel location was great. Staff and drinks wonderful. Food however needs improvement. Had dinner off resort every night. Massage in spa was the best ever received. Looking forward to returning. Must get to pool by 7:30 am to get a chair

I've stayed at this hotel many times. The staff always goes out of their way to accommodate their guests. Close to the international pier and royal village shopping center. Plenty to do, and a nice atmosphere to do them.

This resort is only two miles from the touristy part of downtown (and the ferry to mainland). Situated in position to take advantage of the area activities, but still have much privacy in its design. Small but adequate beach area, with pools and facilities to enjoy. I would come for another visit again.

Great snorkeling right outside the hotel.

Pros: Snorkeling right outside the hotel. The view from the adult only pool. Beautiful grounds.
Cons: Change me sheets once during the week..please. I shouldn't have to ask for towels or my fridge to be restocked. Better selection of food/restaurants.
Location: Hardrock Cafe, Senior Frogs, shopping, local bars
The hotel grounds were beautiful and the pool overlooking the ocean was great. You could snorkel right outside the hotel and there were lots of fish. It's a cruise port so you could walk to lots of shops. The entire town shuts down at 6pm. There is basically no nightlife. There is only one bar open at night in the hotel and it was a ghost town. The food was terrible. Everyone in our party of 5 got sick. The service was mediocre at best. There were lots of local families (timeshare). The hallways echoed and they began cleaning early...no sleeping in. We won't go back.
