I had a horrible experience
When I arrived the host gave me the wrong unit number and check in instructions, which made me enter someone else’s room without prior knowledge. Then when the host finally gave me the right check in instructions, i was not able to unlock the door with the keypad because it was on low battery. I contacted the host to let her know i am locked out and she said give it a few minutes and try again with the keypad. It still didn’t work so i called back and asked could someone come with a master key. She said yes and she was 30 minutes away. A few minutes later i get a notification on my phone saying my reservation was cancelled. I had to contact her again to figure out why my reservation was cancelled because i thought she was on her way.. she didn’t even tell me she cancelled, i had to reach out to her first. It was very important to me to stay at this property because i didn’t have anywhere else to go. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially giving that this is my first time using vrbo.
