It’s listed online as a four-star hotel, but it’s clearly in the condition of a three-star. The bed sits on a low wooden box frame that’s scratched and scuffed, and the headboard shows the same wear. Behind the headboard, there’s a wide gap exposing a dusty radiator. The bed itself has no spring or balance, so I didn’t sleep on it — I spent the night on two chairs instead, since I prepaid for just one night.
The floors are brown wood-linoleum, and scuff marks can be seen on nearly every door. While the bathroom and bedding appear clean, the overall condition of the room feels neglected. There’s rust in the sink drain, a crooked fan vent in the kitchenette, an outdated stove and refrigerator, misaligned cabinet doors, and a patch on the ceiling where a repair was made.
The staff is very kind, but I would never stay here again. This is not a four-star property by any realistic standard.
I don't think I should have paid what I did pay thinking that this was a four star hotel that's clearly a three-star hotel.
