This is a great location, especially if you're forgoing renting a car. The 28X bus drops you off right by the hotel so as a couple you can get to the hotel for $5 total. It's also easy to walk to eat or to some nice sight seeing sites. We had a King bed room that was smallish. It was not a remodeled room so our shower had a bit of mold. It was also strange in that it had half a shower door. We were't sure if that was normal or not. We Lyft'd too many musuems which was far cheaper than the $35/day valet service. We rate the hotel as ok but our visit to Pittsburgh a huge thumbs up". We had a great time.

Check in was at 4:00, we get there AT 4:00 only to be told it would be an hour and a half to two hours for our room to be ready. We sat in the waiting area along with several other families with kids none the less that could not check into their rooms for the same amount of wait time. After 90 minutes of waiting I asked when our room should be ready and off to the side another gentleman is doing the same only to the hotel manager. I hear him ask if anything can be done since everyone had to wait for such long amounts of time and the manager said no that due to unforeseen circumstances nothing could be done. We finally get to our room and boy are looks deceiving in the pictures online. We had 4 people in a double bed room and the room was SO SMALL that only one person could get up at a time to do something. Again, we had 4 people in our room and that was noted on the reservation, in the toom we had 2 towels and 2 washcloths and ONE I repeat ONE roll of toilet paper. I call down to ask for some more toilet paper only to have to call back an hour later to request toliet paper again. The pool was so small that only 10 people or so could get in. The hot tub didnt work the first night. The second night we go back down only to have a handful of teenagers in the hot tub who wouldn't get out and let others in. And yes we asked as did several others for them to let others have a turn. The only good thing about this hotel is that it was right on the point for the fireworks festivities.

Check in was easy. However, there is no on sight parking. The only parking is valet, which is an additional $35.00. Room was ok. A little small, and could have been a little cleaner, but overall it was serviceable.

Location and view were fabulous, the property itself was mediocre. Windows weren’t cleaned in some time, the glasses we used the night before were left in the room after housekeeping had already left and coffee grounds were left in coffee maker. Light in shower didn’t work and toilet ran all night. The lobby looked updated and fabulous, wish they would have taken the effort to update the rooms as well.

The Hotel was absolutely filthy!! Furniture was dusty and banged up.. Door to the bathroom would barely open. Thank Goodness we were only staying 1 night!!
