Valet parking is expensive, but convenient, especially if you are staying downtown for an event and plan to walk to your destination. Property was very clean but expensive for the obviously aging facility in need of upgrades. My adult daughters only brought phone chargers with USB plug-ins, for example, not an option in our room. Only regular outlets were available.

The hotel was very clean. We were upgraded to a suite when we arrived. The suite was very nice, clean, and spacious. All the people I came in contact with were very pleasant and knowledgeable and patient. My only complaint is there wasn’t anything in the room you expect to find in the room. There was no pad or pen. There was no information about what the hotel had to offer. For example, what floor the pool and exercise room were on, if they had room service, etc. No information about their restaurant or other restaurants in the area. I was in downtown Pittsburgh for a baseball game. There was no information as to things to do within the surrounding area of the hotel. There was no Bible in the room. This lack of information was the only thing that disappointed me.

The hotel is in a great spot if you’re planning to see a Pirates game. We walked across the 8th Street Bridge to PNC Park, took about 15 minutes (6th Street Bridge/Clemente is temp closed for renovations until Dec 2023- it’s closer). Plenty of restaurants in a walking distance. The hotel itself is a little older and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The only option for parking was through the valet at $38 per day & you have to be out by 1p the next day. The staff was super friendly.
