The room they initially gave me was a downgrade from the original booking. Not only was at a downgrade that was not informed to me, but the room was dirty, it had mold, and the linen was falling apart. The person at the front desk, I believe his name is Michael gave me a really nasty attitude upon checking in because he claimed he could not find the reservation. When I asked to switch rooms, I told her the same person and explain the situation. No apology, no customer service came through any of my interactions with him. Had to move rooms after a meeting. I had so getting a new room at almost 6 o’clock was not convenient. Also, the room they gave me was the correct room as it was clearly a different setup and different size. This room was also old, a lot of mold in the tiles, hair in the sink hair on the floor around the toilet by the closet on the room floor. The linen was also old. This is an overall disaster. On top of not being able to check in to my reserve the room, I was charged $25 as an early check-in fee. Which was not confirmed. I did not agree to discharge so I will be disputing this as well. This was a mistake. Will never return to that hotel.

We had asked for a crib when we made the reservation. I called the morning of our travel and the hotel assured me that one would be available. After we arrived it took hours for the staff to locate a crib. Otherwise things were good.

I had high expectations given that this is part of the Hilton chain, but unfortunately they weren’t met. I’m not sure if it’s a cultural difference, but the front desk staff were consistently unfriendly, rarely smiled, and often came across as quite rude and overly direct. I always had the feeling that any request I made was seen as an inconvenience. The room itself didn’t feel particularly clean — there was visible dust, and one of the beds wasn’t properly made. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience, to be honest, and it fell short of what I would expect from a Hilton property.

The hotel is downtown, and it’s proximity was convenient for the class I took. The area around the hotel felt safe and was very walkable. Many food options were outside of the hotel. I ate at the hotel’s elegant restaurant , with a majestic view of the city. The gentleman waiter was kind, patient and polite. The room was clean and updates were evident. Checking in and out were both pleasant experiences. Taxis were available just outside of the hotel’s entrance. If visiting Philadelphia in the future, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Told they had a policy that if we arrived early and the room was ready we could get in. When we arrived they said that the room was ready but we didn’t have the type of room for early entry??? Okay so we stored our bags and went to the market for lunch The other problem was that they said that they had parking. I was also told that the hotel doesn’t own or reserve any parking spots which is exactly how we had to park down the street and around the corner from the hotel because they didn’t have any parking in the hotel lot at all !! Overall it was pleasant but certainly not as comfortable as it would have been having our car with us rather than 2 blocks away in Philly
