Overpriced and overrated hotel

Horrible parking lot-- on a hill, so if it's icy or wet, dangerous. Lobby-- small, unwelcoming, in need of updates. Part of the ceiling in the lobby near one of the elevators was is need of repair-- the missing tile and the exposed wiring and insulation looked horrible. The floor was less than clean. The elevator needs updating and was less than clean. The room itself was alright although one of the photographs was mislabeled. It was a picture of the Williamsburg bridge, but was labeled as the Brooklyn Bridge-- very amateurish. When we arrived, there was only one person at the front desk who was busy with another client, and we had to wait until she finished. No other employee came to help her, despite the fact that the door to the office was wide open and those employees in there could clearly see there were clients ready to be checked in. Once we finally checked in and we're given our keys, and went up to the room, we faced another inconvenience-- the keys did not open the door. We were forced to return to the lobby, resolve the problem, take the elevator back up, and try again. We only needed the room to change for an event, and didn't actually sleep there so We cannot comment on an overnight stay. What we saw in the short amount of time we were there would NEVER bring us back to this hotel. If you want quality, this is not it.

Great hotel. Great staff. Great location.

This place is in a great location (15 min walk to LIRR). The staff was truly nice and helpful. Best continental breakfast.
