I was fully prepared to stay in a great location in NYC for a good price with lots of charm. BUT... First of all the hotel lobby was filled with what looked like random people trying to stay warm, spread out all over the seating areas. Weren't even sure they were customers. Also, when given my first room the floor was wet. Got my socks wet after a long day of travel, no fun. The second room had a broken heater (NYC IN JANUARY). So, what I got were two room options presented to me that were totally unacceptable. Such poor setup and conditions that I refused to stay and walked across the street to book another hotel. To put it in plain words, they give you two towels. Wash cloths and hand towels are "upon request". Until updates are made, this hotel could be classified as a hostel. It certainly isn't acceptable for what else is in the area for the same price. The staff was amazing and sympathetic. I have to assume I am not the only one complaining. They all know this as I am sure they deal with it on a daily basis.

Amenities were dated . Rooms were dirty . No early check in available had to wait until 4pm to check in to walk into a room that was dirty and bathroom seat had blood on it . All they do is put out new towels and call it clean

I had a good time at the bar. I like original music, and the people were great. As for the room, there was no coffee maker, there was no cups for rinsing out your mouth when brushing your teeth, we ran out of toilet paper because they never even cleaned the room.

Very small rooms but that was not a surprise since it was in the heart of Time Square. Our room was clean and worked fine for us. The location was perfect to go check out some broadway and off-broadway shows. I would definitely stay here again. Price was not bad for the location.

Price was definitely the driver for this stay, but the room was mid, the location was good for where I needed it, but I will say they really could do just a few things to make it more welcoming. Water bottles in the room. Better towels and maybe a washcloth to wash my face. More than one very overworked luggage attendant for storing and retrieving luggage. Mind you, the one who helped me was so nice, but line was long and he was overworked.
