My family and I stay at the New Yorker each March for the big east tournament. It’s incredibly convenient and with the onsite amenities of having two house in restaurant and a on site Starbucks, I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Staff was very courteous, the room and view were amazing! The bathroom itself was very clean. Thought the bathroom is not a fancy minimalists' dream, it has been recently painted and didn't feel like it was lacking anything. The view itself is worth everything. To wake up and see the city as far as your eye can see. Again staff was great.

The room and bathroom were VERY small. There was barely room to unpack our suitcases, which were also actually very small. We had to run the hot water for at least 10 minutes before the water started to warm up--a huge waste of water resources. A guide to the TV channels would have been helpful--we had no way of knowing what we were watching or planning to watch.

Room was spacious but had issues with staying warm (bathroom was downright chilly). Staff was super friendly, and all the restaurants on site stayed open through a major snowstorm, which was very nice.

Housekeeping staff amazing. Only concern…. Was charged a smoking fee and I don’t/didn’t smoke or vape. Room key cards are very sensitive and demagnetized several times during our stay. Check-in involves long lines. Give yourself time and wear your flexible pants.
