The staff was amazing very helpful and kind. I ended up extending my stay with them. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. Its location is also very convenient. Will be visiting again!

the room was small, but very comfortable. the bed was EXELLENT!!! i slept great on it. they ask for a $100 deposit up front but you get that back when you checkout. its not in the best neighborhood, so i dont recommend just walking around to sight see but overall i had a good stay

The property isn’t well maintained well the room I had good thing we didn’t have the kids with us. People next door were smoking whole night so we had that to deal with. When we wanted to check out we had to call them wait for someone to come which took 10mins wait time. Then for some reason you are charged $100 for booking on Expedia while you pay $60 for all the rest even walk in pay $60

The heat was on full blast ...which meant I had to turn on the AC. They had no cups in the room. I had to ask for a cup to brush my teeth with. The walls were paper thin and I had to put down a cash deposit that was bigger than the amount I spent on the room. (They gave it back when I checked out....but it had to be cash and it was a lot .. ridiculous )

Not a great check in experience as I needed 100$ cash for the security deposit and that was not noted on the booking with Expedia. Room has stains and banged up walls so you pay for the cheapness. No bugs during our stay, was heated to 78 degrees in the room when we checked in.

It was so bad, had an horrible odor, staff was not present, also miscellaneous objects around the room. This room was inhumane for any guest to stay I actually did not stay, I left within the first 3 minutes I arrived. I have pictures as well, there were animals in the lobby just horrible, I would actually prefer a refund because I had to switch locations at 10pm in a state where I don’t reside at the last minute.

This place sucked. Gross. Room hadn’t been cleaned in years. Paper thin walls you hear everything. Trap house vibes. Can’t believe I paid for this experience. Literally every piece of furniture was broken, sheet didn’t fit the bed. Go somewhere else. Gave an extra star because the guy at the desk was ok.

We took time to read the reviews prior to booking as they are very mixed. We were greeted when we arrived early and checked in smoothly and quickly. We were aware of the $100 cash deposit so had this available. Our room was on the 6th floor and very quiet despite there being roadworks outside. The lobby and lift were very clean with a vending machine and microwave available. We also were able to leave luggage at our own risk on check out as we had an evening flight. The room was very clean. It was -7 during our stay and the heating did quickly warm us up. The bed was comfortable and I am sure an extra blanket could be provided if required. In places the decor does show signs of age but it is functionable and clean. There were some areas that needed a deeper clean but it was not filthy just some decorating signs and some deeper cleaning around some of the grouting in the bathroom. The bathroom had a hair dryer, bath and shower. The water pressure and temperature of the water were good nice and warm. The bathroom however did get chilly at night!!!! The bedding was clean and there was housekeeping daily if required. Towels were clean and soft. Being British we did miss having facilities in the room to make a hot drink as it is standard in the hotels in the UK to have a kettle but I am aware US hotels do not. Would happily have rented a kettle and mugs if they were available. LOCATION is great for access to the subway and within walking distance to Roosevelt Island
