The hotel only has 3 elevators which made it extremely difficult to get a ride. No stair access to the main lobby, both stairs exited to the exterior of the building.

The rooms are very clean and the staff is extremely kind. The hotel is in great condition and breakfast is really good, you just have to be there very early or everything will be gone. Be aware that you are staying in Queensbridge, but it is very close to the train station so it is easy to get into Manhattan.

Would Stay Again Conveniently Located

The stay was amazing! Conveniently located a couple blocks away from the subway. The walk there had plenty of bodegas and other chain restaurants (Little Caesars, Wingstop, Taco Bell, and more). We spent a lot of our time shopping in the city during the day but always came back to a clean and tidy room. We arrived a little earlier than 3pm and were not able to check in just yet but the lobby was a nice hangout. The breakfast included was really good and never too crowded.

The only drawback to this hotel is the parking. It's really difficult to find a spot if you don't arrive early. If you arrive late, the surroundings aren't very pleasant. Otherwise, you'll have to pay for valet parking every night you stay there.

Located in an alley in a run down neighborhood. Hotel ammenities are lacking. The guest laundry is a broom closet with 1 washer and 1 dryer. Rooms have no closets just a tiny cubby with a few hangers. In room frige is dinky and barely cools drinks. Takes days to cool stuff down. Free breakfast was good and staff worked well to keep it stocked with items during breakfast hours. Decent selection of items for purchase from the concierge area and priced ok. Staff worked hard to keep hotel clean. Lobby bathrooms very clean and well stocked . Bar was undersupplied with basic ingredients and alcohol selection was very limited. Staff did the best they could with limited stock on hand . Rooms are cramped and beds are so-so comfort wise. More like a 2 star hotel.

One thing that i appreciated about the rooms were how clean they were. I did not find any wash cloth or towels that were soiled which is very common in hotels these days. Will definitely visit again.

Quick Trip to NYC

The check in staff was very helpful. I arrived on a red eye and while a room was not ready early, the staff checked my luggage and offered me breakfast. Super friendly. The walk to and from the Subway is a little less desirable. Would recommend an Uber or taxi at night.
