The room had no thermostat and room was too hot. The elevators were incredibly slow. We waited almost 15 minutes for an elevator in the morning and all three elevators were running. I will not stay here again.

This hotel is perfect for anyone coming to New York for touristy stuff, Broadway shows, etc. I usually visit the city a couple times a year, and this is my first choice for hotels. This time, however, one of their two elevators was down for service on my latest stay, and it was incredibly inconvenient to have to wait up to ten minutes for an available elevator to get down from the 14th floor. They made the service elevators available, but it still took a long time to secure an elevator. The Belvedere will still be my first choice, but I hope the elevator situation is resolved before my next visit.

Property is clean and staff friendly, but the building is outdated and in need of upgrades. One elevator was down during our stay. They are also very firm on check-in times. We were not able to check in even an hour early due to our price point at purchase through Expedia despite several other families able to check in.

The only good part of the stay was the staff. They are excellent and very helpful. A very poor quality room was given. Hallway had a stale smell. The cleaning crew left the cart outside the room door all day which was almost hazardous while getting out of the room. There were small cockroaches in the room. The door lock wasn’t great. I wanted it to be a great experience but it wasn’t.
