The room was poorly maintained, cramped, and the service was poor. In the bathroom theres no lock on the door, theres no fan, and there is no shower door. The lack of a door means water very quickly pools on the floor causing our clothes to get wet. The entry to the shower is a slit to slide in, and as an overweight person, I had to slide in sideways so that I fit. The pooling water also caused rotting or chipping at the bottom of the door, making it ugly, and causing me to question the cleanliness. The air conditioner in the room was inconsistent. It kept resetting itself to 72 degrees, and non-responsive buttons made it difficult to change. This led to a sleepless night since we like the temp at 68. The room was missing the tv remote, and we called to get one. The phone didn't work right; hanging the phone up did not work. I had to figure out how to turn the phone off, rather than just picking it and putting it back on the receiver. It took about 30-45 minutes for them to get it to us, which felt too long. In general, it was just enough of these little issues that added up and really kind of spoiled our stay. Additionally, we visited the lobby bar all three nights we were there. With perfect and exceptional service the first and second night, but the third was awful. The server took 20 minutes to get 2 drinks to us, and then never came back. I would have liked to order another drink or two, but after waiting 30 minutes, we decided to go to bed. They were not busy!
