"Stellar Staff"
Because of the staff, the hotel was so clean and welcoming. A really wonderful experience. And very reasonable considering that food, drinks, kayaks, tennis courts were all included.

"Amazing view!"
Our King suite was absolutely gorgeous with an incredible view. Loved the room, loved the water and the view. The beach is cleaned nightly, but tourists leave most of their debris. Be sure to swim on the right side of the designated beach area otherwise drunk jet skiers may run you over. We saw several "kids" ski into the designated swim area. The jet ski vendors project "you can drink and drive" therefore... Cruise ship day passes to the right of the hotel beach are numerous, but friendly. Loads of things can be bought by vendors on the beach if you are inclined, if you decline they leave you alone. Did not love not having hot water after day two, did not love housekeeping taking change that was underneath several papers, did not love that tipping felt required or no service, we had spent forty dollars before the end of day two. We did not love the good in general. There were a lot of repeated things served daily, but there are things like grilled chicken, grilled grouper and steak that was really good. We did eat at The Gourmet and Krystal. Do book the lunch, snorkle and swim on private island with Ocean Paradise. It was absolutely wonderful! It's not a bad place, we had a great week, and it is a good value for the money. Just a FYI: Loads of complaints from those staying at Atlantis..very pricey.

"Nice hotel, great room beach view!"
This was a couple trip. Hotel was nice, beach was beautiful. The room was clean and modern. The balcony had an amazing beach view. The variety of restaurants was pleasing. The food was great. There was minimal night life. The drinks were not that great. I got heartburn with every drink I attempted to consume. The amenities were great. Overall experience was very nice.

"Fun place for all ages"
Atlantis was amazing & not just for the water park features, there are so many activities for all ages day & night. We had so much fun on the water slides, playing in the many pools, floating the river, the dolphin experience & hanging out at the beach. The entire complex is one big aquarium & our kids really enjoyed it. Fun place to visit, highly recommend it however be prepared to spend money, it's not a cheap stay by any means.

"I LOVED THIS PLACE!!! I will definitely be returning here to stay."
If you are looking for a Bahamian experience, and really wish to see what the culture is about, stay at this place! I chose it because lets face it, if I wanted to stay in a hotel that reminded me of Vegas, I'd go to Vegas. I go to the Bahamas to meet the people and explore their culture. The staff here was amazing! I wasn't just another tourist face that they had to put up with, which is what you tend to get in the super expensive hotels. They treated me like family, making sure I had anything and everything I needed, getting me rides to and from places, making reservations at Stuart Cove's dive shop, recommending places to see and always asked how I was doing. I could walk up to the Villas from getting off the shuttle/ jitney and immediately was greeted with smiles and asked how my adventures were going. For the price you pay, you don't feel tied down to a hotel room just because you are spending loads of money on it each night. You feel guilt free to roam around the island and enjoy yourself, then come back and relax at home, instead of feeling like you should be getting your monies worth out of a hotel your spending a fortune to stay at.The beach is not even a one minute walk from your room. You see it from the balcony. The villas have a small kitchen, with burner, microwave, refrigerator, and small electric tea pot. If you need a car, you can rent one from the hotel for $50 a day if you don't want to rent one for the whole time you are there. If not, they will call the jitney (bus) to come pick you up and that is only $2. Its off the beaten path, so you will need a ride to get to the downtown area. But its SO worth it. I felt so at home and so relaxed while I stayed here that, when I go again, I'm definitely staying here. And I know they will have even more surprises for me next time, as they started to remodel certain aspects of the Villas while I was there! LOVE THIS PLACE!
