"Great experience"
Loved the fact that all rooms have a great view of the ocean. Could hear the breakers all night with balcony slider open. Food was better than Riu's we have stayed at in Mexico. People were very friendly and accommodating. Entertainment was better than some other Riu's we have been at. Ocean was warm, lifeguards were attentive. Pool was warm. Great service at the swim up bar.

"Best world possible"
Love it !!! Out stay was a true Hilton experience with a British flair. Frequently, I have travelled to Bahamas to visit family and friends. I never booked with the Hilton chain even though we are Hilton honors. This will forever be our Bahamian hotel, British Colonial Hilton.

"Another great stay at Atlantis!"
This was my 4th stay at Atlantis over the past 10 years. This time I was on a girls' trip. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and the housekeeper we had took great care of us throughout the duration of our stay. I do think this resort is better suited for family vacations than adult groups as it can get a bit loud with the music and kiddos at some of the pools, although we were always able to find a quieter place. I would highly recommend Olives Restaurant for dinner. The grouper was fantastic and the chocolate cake was out of this world. Be aware that if your stay at includes free breakfast, it is not available at Murray's Deli, even though it is part of the resort. One downside to Atlantis is that if you want to gamble, the casino gets quite smokey in the evenings. It was more than we could handle, so we skipped that. We also went to the Ocean Club's Dune Restaurant for dinner one night. Atlantis offers a free shuttle. It was an experience worth doing. The resort, food and service were beyond compare. On a side note--we enlisted a shuttle with Majestic Tours for airport transfers since it was offered through Travelocity while we were booking the trip. It took a long time as we were the last stop of many on the route. We paid $145 for 3 of us from the airport which took about 75 minutes. On the return, we used SUV Transports & Towncar Services which ran $60 and only took 30 minutes--a much better option with a professional driver and very nice black SUV.

"Right on the beach"
We had a good time at Breezes. The hotel is definitely not new. But it was very clean. The pools and pool area was very clean. Our room was clean but dated. They need to update the rooms. Our room had a partial view of the ocean which was nice. The buffet food was decent. The 2 restaurants onsite we ate at was Marino's which is Italian and the food was excellent. And the 2nd one was Garden of Eden and it was excellent too. But don't be in a hurry if you eat at these restaurants- they serve you a 5 course meal and it took about 1 1/2 hours, but it is definitely worth your time. Entertainment in the main lobby on Friday and Saturday nights was good. Drinks are pretty strong with Alcohol, and they do use little cups but they welcome you to bring your own bigger cup and alot of people had their own. The beach was beautiful and there are plenty of chairs to use on the beach. We took a jet ski out one day and it was well worth our money we loved that. Eat at Frankies at Fish Fry-a little pricey but GREAT Food. Cab is $20 from Airport and Cabs in city are pricey but there is a bus stop in front of hotel and you can ride that to downtown for $1.25 per person. We were disappointed in Atlantis-it is alot like the big hotels/casino in Vegas. People for the most part are super friendly.

"Comfortable, Clean, Buses make it a great location"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orange Hill. It was a little off the beaten path near the airport and away from the resorts. The beach right accross the street is a little shy on sand but quite beautiful. The pool was not heated, so we swam in the ocean. The rooms and common areas were clean, cozy, and comfortable. We had a great time with this Inn as our launching spot. We spent a lot of time going to different beaches by bus. The bus goes right past the Inn and seems to run every 10 minutes all day until 7pm, maybe later. There are a few sights within a short walk. We thought the cave was neat, pirates used to live there. There are 2 restaurants about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. A 3 star hotel that gets my approval rating of 5 stars.

"Atlantis is amazing if you set expectations"
My family, including my 7 and 5 year old daughters, spent a relaxing week at Atlantis in late August. Relax and enjoy. Atlantis is what it is. If you accept this fact before you arrive, you’ll have a blast. Beach Tower is a walk from most attractions – but less than Disney. Once you learn the cut-throughs, you can make it from the Beach Tower to the Aztec Temple in less than 10 minutes. There are so many cool things to see on the way if you take the outside routes – from sting rays to sharks, you’ll hardly notice. My daughters never once complained about the walks. Yes, food is expensive. If you don’t need 3 meals a day, you can easily get away with snacking for a meal or two. We brought some bars, bagels, peanut butter and applesauce. We cut out a meal every day. Other tips: The Starbucks drinks run about $1.50 more per drink than the States -- but no automatic gratuity is added. Our room had a nice HD TV (including Disney and Nick for the kids), access to an ice machine, a balcony, and two comfy beds. I didn't need much more!

"Not as high end as it used to be."
Stayed for 2 nights at the coral towers. This was our 3rd time staying here. We have always loved Atlantis and have always stayed at the coral towers. I have to say the place is starting to get a little run down both in the room and out. There are rusty fixtures in the bathroom, sliding balcony doors are falling apart, and the carpeting has reached the end of it's lifespan. Around the grounds there are several areas that need to be painted, there are areas that need some cement work also. Don't get me wrong it is not a dump(yet). It is still very nice, but the whole place needs to be 'spruced' up. We had a great time going on all of the slides, the food was great, and the staff is always around and helpful.
