The room was ok- staff was very nice. The food could have been better. Not a lot of choices, steak house was awful. You can only eat at the buffet so many times. The other restaurants didn’t have options that were appealing. Room service menu should be improved.

I really enjoyed the outside restaurant that served jerk chicken and ribs everday for lunch. The only thing that was great was there lack of entertainment. The a very small group and they didnt have very many games. My husband and i love to have and engage however there were very limit thing to participate in. Also they gave you value buck everyday in where u could get in an auction for prizes, but only auctioned the same prizes a medium shift that would fit a child and coffee mugs. With better entertainment and engagement this could be a wonderful place to go and revisit.

The entire hotel needs a renovation, from painting the entire exterior to redoing the tile floors outside by the pool. The specialty restaurants were not available for reservations even though we inquired prior to our stay if advanced reservations were required. The buffet food was good and the staff were great.

Very disappointed with the RIU. I did not get the full ocean view room I paid for. Staff at front desk could care less. My room was dirty and every chrome fixture was rusted. Front desk offered me a cleaner room not much cleaner for and extra $120.00. I have no choice but pay it. It was still a partial ocean view facing the public beach with trash. The staff didn't not care and did not try to make it right. We just dealt with dirty blankets and the run down room. Other staffers told me it is a common complaint and the hotel has gone down.I will never go back.

The staff is the only reason I will give a 3 stars! Because they was helpful and kind! The food disgusting and same food everyday! Very limited restaurant on property and it was a hassle to make reservations we was a group of 8 everytime difficult and no reservation available but when we got to the restaurant it was empty smh. The entertainment boring !!!! No energy! No hotel dirty run down while we on the pool area the balcony started collapsing!! In my room two roaches yuck !!!! Expensive and very cheap everyting don’t recommend at all !!!!!

Overall, the resort offers a pleasant experience, although it may feel a bit compact for an extended week-long trip. However, it is perfectly suited for a four-day getaway, providing a cozy atmosphere while still delivering the amenities needed for a relaxing stay.

The front desk upgraded our room since we were celebrating our anniversary. There was not much entertainment, no activities on the beach. No paddle boards, no kayaks for the guests to use. There was no airport shuttle. Had to take a taxi every where. Every experience. The coffee bar didn’t open until 10am. Not convenient for the guests. We stayed at RIU resorts before and have never been disappointed as we were with this resort.

Had a good time here! Plenty of activities for everyone. We enjoyed the group activities and games daily. We stayed here for about one week. Great food, great drinks and friendly staff. We used the gym, the pool, the beach, dinner reservations, and even got a massage. The staff are bilingual and very friendly. We will definitely be back! The place is well kept and cleaned regularly. We felt safe and had a great time!
