NOT worth the money. I was upgraded to the Cove This place calls itself 5-star, but honestly it’s a weak 2.5 at best. I left feeling ripped off and frustrated. Here’s why: 1. False Advertising – We paid premium rates for an adults-only resort. Guess what? Families and kids everywhere. The hotel claims it’s a “recent change,” but nowhere on the booking site does it say that. Total bait-and-switch. 2. Construction Nightmare – Drilling from 10 AM to 5 PM. Nonstop. Try relaxing in your room with that noise. Zero warning before booking. 3. Zero Service – Broken lights in the room? Reported. No one came. Toilet overflowed? I called THREE times. No response. Eventually they offered a room change, but no apology, no urgency, no resort credit. That’s not 5-star service — that’s bare minimum. 4. Unfriendly Staff – They just stand around staring. No help, no energy, no initiative. At the pool, they don’t even clear towels from “reserved” chairs. 5. Insane Prices – Food and drinks are shockingly overpriced (and I’ve lived in NYC and LA). They try to trap you on the property, but trust me — leave the resort. You’ll get better food and real fine dining outside for a fraction of the cost. Bottom line: This place charges luxury prices but delivers frustration, noise, bad service, and regret. Save your money. There are FAR better options.

The beach closes at 7pm!!!!! That includes the pool and all area of water. I don’t understand how or why, even for better insurance rates, I would not invite folks to paradise and then close it down at 7pm. You have been warned!

We got a over looking the Trace room, we could not sit outside, it was smelling badly, also the bathroom shower was horrible, the water pressure was so low it was tripping, we were 4 people and it took each person 45 minutes to an hour to take a shower Food selection on the property was great and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Paid extra for a grand room with ocean view. The room has never been updated and it was small. There was a tub/shower with little water pressure. Definitely not worth the price per night. Not a terrible place to stay if you have kids (we have 2) bc of the water activities, slides, etc but be prepared to spend money.

Bahamas is a beautiful place to visit. However, the hotel staff are very unhelpful. At check-in, I had selected upgrades in the front desk said it was impossible to tell me pricing upfront that I would have to email someone separately. I asked what the charge would be for the hold on my credit card and what the amount would be and she said she was not allowed to tell me I would have to email resort services. Overall, this resort has been reluctant to be transparent about billing and it is taken days of our trip and multiple phone calls to try to get some transparent understanding of what we’re actually going to be billed by here. If we ever do decide to stay at this resort again, we’ll definitely Have to be a lot firmer from the beginning to have clear expectations set. Resort staff overall just don’t wanna help you and they seem to just wanna take your money. Any opportunity they can without telling you about hidden tips or upfront cost for the rooms.
