Some things to know, very clean hotel, but a bit dated, maid service was daily if needed, lots of activities, bingo on the beach, cornhole competitions, volleyball, dancing and live music, drinks a bit weak but you can enjoy as many as you like. The best bar is downstairs next to the buffet dining room, but doesn’t open til 6:30 pm nightly. High end selection of booze & cocktails. We ate at all the different specialty restaurants on site (3) plus the buffet and the beach grill, all satisfactory, If you go to the specialty restaurants either be first in line, or go late, after 8pm. Beach is amazing, powder sand and beautiful water. Downside..rooms, not well insulated from your neighbors noise, we used our thermostat fan on high at night which worked well, dining buffet has limited seating, go early, some foods are not restocked. All bars are packed, don’t be shy, tips did not seem to make a difference, although I’m sure they were appreciated. No beach rafts or toys, but lots of loungers, beach towels are provided, venders walk the beach, but I found all my deals on line and cheaper. We spent 7 days there and it was fun! Busses run for $2/person and will take you in town, taxi rides are minimum $30 anywhere. Casino is next door and amazing. Overall a fun resort!

We reserved a king bed and got 2 double beds instead. The rooms are also dated. Nobody sits you at the buffet so patience is a virtue until you find a table to sit at. There are only 3 restaurants on the site; however, they aren’t open every night (even though it says it will be open). Each restaurant has a certain capacity and once it reaches that there is a waiting period for the next time to dine (ex: 630, 730). Directions are not clear on how to get to the restaurants and reservations are a must even though we were instructed they were not needed. The beach is beautiful, the palm trees provide a lot of shade, and the employees are super friendly and accommodating. Overall, not a bad experience for a first timer to the Bahamas. The resort is budget friendly; therefore, you get what you pay for. I would suggest this resort to anyone looking for a chill, inexpensive experience at the Bahamas, but if you’re looking for the real, boujee resort experience try Baha Mar or Atlantis.

Hotel is very dated. Had to move room as toilet wouldn’t flush….. it was awful!. New room had faults: tv remote didn’t work and also telephone no dialing tone. They had a couple of goes with tv remote which still had problems switching on and off and changing Chanel’s. Phone never got fixed. Entertainment was poor and not advertised properly. No paperwork on anything when you arrived!? Main Restaurant, the food was basic, chewy meats with bones, grizzle etc, also not easy to get a seat. The à la carte restaurants required you to wait for 45min for a dozen or so places we didn’t bother. During the day only the pool bar was open, no proper cocktails with coconut milk and all served in flimsy single use cups, also not easy to get served. In the evening from 6pm the small piano bar opened with only one person serving again not easy to get a drink and very limited cocktails available nothing advertised. The staff were all v good, friendly and over worked from what I could see. We only booked this hotel as I’d been to a Breezes hotel in Cuba over 25 years ago and it was brilliant in all respects. All we could do this time was count down all 10 long days!

Rooms are old with few accessible outlets. You pay extra for a fridge. Beach was lovely. Pool was rowdy and they blast music/ MC games all day. Towels close at 5pm, so I was always left with a soggy towel for the next day. Food options for dinner and lunch were unimaginative and uninspiring. For dinner, there was always a long line. The gym gave prison vibes. WiFi was non-existent. You will need to use data. Hammocks had ant hills below them; I got a few bites before noticing. Most markedly, the staff doesn’t care. They are unhelpful and ignore you. Every meal I was chasing someone down for utensils, reminding for a drink or app that never came. If you want to mind your business on the beach or drink like a fish at the pool, this is your spot. Set your expectations low for service and food.

Our room was average. The entry door would not close under its own power and the slider doors (overlooking the pool and beach area) would only operate with a huge effort. The chase lounges were the worst we have ever used at a beach resort (just hard plastic with no cushions other than small head pillows you sign out with you towels every day). The food was just ok. The a la carte restaurants were better than the nightly buffet. The Grand Buffet on Thurs night was a little better. No straws for drinks anywhere on resort. Nightly entertainment (live music/DJ was very loud and centrally located on Resort and goes pretty late so either have noise canceling headphones to be able to sleep before midnight. Staff were all very helpful, courteous and friendly. We did book an 80min. Swedish massage which is done in a beachside hut. The masseuses were very good, but we missed the quiet and aroma therapy of a full Spa.

Room was clean and staff greeted us with smiles each day. Food and drinks are as expected at an all inclusive, food maybe slightly better than expected, and the bartenders didn't skimp on the liquor and got to know our preferences very quickly! Beds are firmer than I like, but that's a personal preference thing. The beach is awesome, which was the main reason we chose Breezes. We noticed the usual jostling for chairs around the pool with people placing towels out early in morning to claim seats they didn't use till lunch time. Glad we wanted the beach which always had available chairs. Lots of night life at the resort and the resort next door that we didn't partake in as we were there for sun and beach. As week progressed, resort became full as Valentine's approached. We didn't see extra staff to accommodate this uptick of clients and we felt like the atmosphere was kind of tense with rude clients being upset with not getting top shelf drinks (it's all inclusive, what are you expecting?!) or just too demanding. We felt bad for the staff that were running their butts off and smiling less, which is not their fault. I will definitely go back and try to pick a more quiet time again to enjoy this site! Yes, resort is dated but we saw smiling workers constantly working to update and keep it clean. Great people work here!
