Unwanted guest

We were traveling for business and arrived at the hotel late due to a delayed flight, so we were extremely tired. The check-in associate was very friendly and welcoming. However, upon entering our room and turning on the lights, we were shocked to see a large cockroach crawling on the wall. It was unsettling. Since it was already midnight and finding another hotel wasn’t an option, we thoroughly searched the room for any other insects. Although we didn’t see any more, we felt uneasy about staying there and were especially concerned about keeping our suitcases in the room.
