First time going to Cancun and glad we chose Westin Lagunamar to stay in. The staff was awesome and they work around the clock to keep the resort safe and clean!!! Loved the pool areas and the mini golf was fun!! La Isla is right across the street and has some awesome shops!! 10/10 rating from me and my wife

Gorgeous property, pools were stunning. Heated pools open 7:00 AM-10:00 PM, multiple hot tubs that stayed open 24/7. Breakfast buffet was small but tons of fresh fruit and bakery and you could order stuff not on buffet but also included. Dinner food not great but tons of restaurants within 2 minutes walking. Drinks were good, staff amazing and friendly and our 1 BR suite was very nice and offered some separation from the kids at night. Overall great vacation and would stay again. Not all inclusive but not terrible bring a tumbler and buy a bottle from duty free on the way in! Drinks by pool were $9-$14 not terrible. Affordable lunch served poolside or right to your cabana on the beach.

By booking through Expedia I paid for an ocean view room and got a parking/construction view room. No happy about that at all. This is what the hotel staff told me but they accommodated me on my last night

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. The room is clean, the shower is very good, and room view is wonderful. The hotel is huge and it doesn’t hurt to place more signs to help the guests to navigate:). However, I must say the service is not consistent in this hotel. The concierge and spa staff are very nice and helpful, but I CAN NOT say the reception staff at check-in is friendly (the gentleman who wears a pair of glasses in black frame). He rudely told me to “ go ask the concierge where is the location for breakfast, they will tell you.” and it sounds like answering this question is not supposed to be his job. I hope the hotel will provide more training. Our server at resort’s main restaurants is pretty much “tourist fatigue” with lukewarm service. Otherwise, all is fine.

I like that I have the opportunity to eat outside the resort. The room was beautiful but the dinner facilited are limited. I did not like that the guest has to put out the trash and the noise in the hall ways by employees laugh and talking. In addition they ring the bell at around 9:00 am. It was improper and anoying.

La propiedad muy linda, super hermosas las áreas y las habitaciones, Marisol de la recepción fue muy amable y nos ayudo con la asignación de la habitación; los meses y el servicio de viento siento que fue muy lento a comparación de las demás mesas que tenían antes sus alimentos a pesar de llegar después. Igual el hielo que usaban sabía muy mal pero fuera de todo eso la verdad que el hotel estuvo muy bueno y el servicio de service express fue muy efectivo
