Older but updated property. Generally a quiet stay, but could hear other tenants come and go in hallway. Very nice breakfast and a walkable downtown area in the evening. Area will be even more appealing when work on the Statehouse campus is completed.

There was 1 person at the front desk when i checked in. She,said the computer system was down. Rarely saw,any other workers during my stay. If you needed something, you were out of luck on getting it. No one was at the desk for check out or really anytime during my stay. Several people just sitting in their cars in the parking lot. Concerned that my vehicle might get damaged or broken into.

Springfield stay
Our overall stay was nice but the air conditioning in our room was broken. We called the front desk and nothing got done about it (I know it was a weekend but still stinks not to be cool when is 90+ outside). The room otherwise was nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best I've had at a hotel that is included and don't have to pay extra for.

Stayed in room 402. Thermostat didn’t work at all. No AC all night just the fan running nonstop. Crumbs on the ground too. I’m not a pick person but this is a 2/5 stars place at best. The two stars are for the decent hot breakfast they offer in the AM.

We were hopeful about this property and thought it was nice - until we realize the AC in the rooms were not working. Based on past reviews it looks like the AC hadn’t been working for at least two weeks prior to us trying to stay. We ended up leaving and going to a different hotel because the rooms were 84 degrees.

Our check in process was great! Our room was blowing hot air, so we called the front desk to have maintenance fix the issue. He came quickly, could not fix the issue and got us moved to another room—again with the same issue.
