Don’t waste your money. While the location is great, the lack of concern, from staff, with major problems that we encountered was unacceptable! There are numerous other hotels in this vicinity. I highly suggest you book with them.

Room service restaurant closed. Property NOT as advertised. Old. Our trip was prepaid and upon check -in,staff charged my card $600 that was on hold until check out even after numerous “escalations to upper management” after checkout my card was charged ANOTHER $155. Staff unhelpful. Shower didn’t drain. Pillows were awful. Only positive was comfy mattress and quick elevator. Go elsewhere.

We always stay at the Congress Plaza - it's fairly convenient, the rooms are quiet, the beds comfortable, the restaurants decent. It's about a 7-10 minute walk to the Blue line, but bus stops right at the hotel or across the street. The hotel decor is gorgeous and well-maintained, everything worked, but the water pressure wasn't great and it took a long time to get any hot water.
