This is an older hotel and I think it’s beautiful, but certainly it’s not fancy. But with that location, I don’t need fancy and the view of the lake and the fountain was awesome. From when we entered, and Stephen took care of us, pointed us in the right direction and told us the best place to park… every staff member after that was friendly and looked out for us.

First we want to applaud the staff, who were amazing and even gave us an upgrade. Absolutely helpful and kind. However, the state of the rooms leaves much to be desired. Our bathroom in particular was absolutely miniscule, with a toilet that wasn't bolted to the floor and was much too low. The rooms need better air conditioning, and the TV is laughably small (which isn't really a problem given the intent to spend time outside the room). Lastly the closet wasn't even the size of our luggage - they should consider removing the closet for the room we had and expanding the bathroom.
