People and service nice. Cost of breakfast offered not worth it, should be free. Too much construction a lot of noices and debris. Should of had accomiations away from construction we had work going on in the room next door and it was noisy all day long.

The Sono Hotel on International Drive (it’s more of a motel) is a good value for short stays. I’d recommend it if you’re in town for a night or two. After four nights, though, its limitations became clear. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had to switch rooms on arrival due to issues with the AC, TV, and door. The second room also had AC trouble. Staff offered to move us again, but I asked if it could be repaired instead. They fixed it, and we stayed the full four nights. Still, I expect more attention to detail when I prepay for a multi-night stay. Either we were unlucky, or many rooms have similar small issues. It's inconvenient to move all your things more than once. Also worth noting: this is one of those hotels that hits you with an extra “resort fee” at check-in—$10 per night—even if you prepaid. It wasn’t listed on their site or on Travelocity. I come to Orlando often, and this kind of surprise charge feels shady and inconsiderate, especially for families on a tight budget. I’ve filed a pricing dispute with Travelocity. Overall, I wouldn’t return for a long stay, but I’d consider it again for a last-minute overnight after an event.

There was mold in shower the AC was broken in one of the rooms. The hotel is currently under construction and you can hear the construction all day long there is no working vending machines the pool is dirty a motel 6 would’ve been better

Hotel is in the prime location however it is in need for upgrades and maintenance. Hotel is outdated. The pool is nice and clean. Rooms are ample but need TLC.

Do not stay here!! This is a scam!! no AC no balcony no service !! Had to leave. Got hung up on several times when asking how long til we get air. Stayed 2 nights after getting no sleep! It was almost 90 degrees in the room. Also stove did not work and fridge would not close. We left to look for another hotel which we found a few streets away . What a difference. This hotel refused to talk with us or resolve the problem. I can’t imagine how they stay in business. All they said was they would move us out of town to a sister location. This is the game!! Bcareful

Great value and location

Great value and location. Going through a remodel. Our room was 90% updated. Very nice so far. Does need updated furnishings. Lampshades and chairs are old and really standout in the remodeled rooms. Other than that, room was beautiful and clean. We’ll stay again.

This was a good stay for one night. Although I did find an ant and a moth inside the room, the property is undertaking a much needed renovation. The room was clean and the bathroom looked very nice. The lighting in the bathroom was great. There is a kitchen area for you to use which I loved because I needed the microwave. The bed linens were clean as well. Much space in the room. If you need to stay a night or two this would be a great fit. Overall not a bad stay at all.

Disappointing, charged a resort fee on arrival that was not listed on Expedia. There was a frog in our room when we arrived, which we had to usher out the door. Air con was weak and the bed had these tiny pillows and they would only give me two extra. Don’t feel like this place warranted a resort fee considering. Plus, there is an option to show this on Expedia so it is purposely deceptive.

Was very well the 7 nights than I stay. The staff are very friendly, the room it's clean, the TV it's pretty old but I think a smart TV should give the room a better upgrade but it works. The location are excellent, it's close to the parks and places to eat. The parkings are free and nice, they are under construction right now so maybe you hear some noises sometimes but not a big deal. Was great, I would stay again.

Unsafe and Dirty

Dirty bathroom with mold and hair, multiple bugs found in the bed, jail right next to the hotel, sketchy area and sketchy people in the lobby. Heard loud yelling from men while moving my stuff in. Didn’t feel safe the second I arrived and left before even staying 1 night because of the bed bugs. Didn’t even get a refund!!!!!

The property is being renovated and we were in a room where the room next to us and on top of us were having construction starting at 7am! The surrounding area was filthy but due to the construction and all the dumpsters. There was unexpected fee for breakfast, not complementary and a few for the property.
