"Nice hotel and close to beach. "
Good location and be sure to leave hotel grounds as lots to see in evening time close by. Breakfast was dreadful expensive at rainbow. 33dollars +++ and all I had was boiled egg on toast... Dont get caught if you're on a room only. Only other caution was Luah. Shop around ! was dreadful and on top of garage in high rise buildings. Total rip off as had been to a Luah before in Maui and was so perfect. Apart from these two. Holiday was amazing and would recommend to family or loved ones. Perfect location and do public transport to get around and hire a car for a day. We did do Pearl Harbor with an organized tour. So recommended.

"Great hotel for family vacation. "
We had 2 rooms for a family vacation and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a great size, very clean & everything worked well. Rooms have a mini refrigerator which was great. Used it to store waters & leftovers. Had plenty of outlets and usb plugs for charging phones and tablets. Hotel had 2 nice pools that stayed opened late, a great way to unwind after our daily sightseeing trips. We liked the main pool near the bar. Had 2 burgers from room service, very tasty, a bit pricey but that's usual for room service. Had free breakfast with our package, very nice breakfast buffet with great omelette bar. Hotel had a lot of shops including ABC store which was very convenient. Hotel was right across the street from the beach, great location. Had dinner at the steakhouse in the hotel, good food. Overall we had a great stay, would definitely come back.

"Very Nice and Accommodating!"
We flew in a day early for a cruise and only stayed one night. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious. We were in a suite that accommodated 5 people. they have free movies to rent, centrally located to alot of shopping, beach, stores, and they give you towels and chairs for the beach. Great place!

"Affordable for Waikiki"
The most affordable hotel in Waikiki. Rooms are "cozy" and ok for couples but not families. Bathroom is really small but serves it's purpose. Walls are a little thin so you can here people walking in the halls. Good place to stay if you're on a budget

"A Gem if you hate crowds!"
This was our first time in Oahu and pure luck that we chose this place. I don't think they do a good enough job of touting their location and lack of overpopulation. This hotel is very near to, but quite separate from, the Waikiki beach area. So you get a great resort, are still close to everything Waikiki offers, but don't have to deal with all the people. We went in to Waikiki a few times to eat, take a submarine ride, etc. and simply hated it! You can't go two steps without bumping into a tourist, most of which are loud and have no sense of a "personal bubble" of space. Kahala is beautiful, quiet and a joy to be at. If you want to go to Oahu and skip the crowds, Kahala is the place to go. Just make time to stock your hotel fridge and ask them for a microwave during your stay since the roomservice is no cheaper here than anywhere else in hawaii. With kids, it's great to have cereal, milk, snacks, etc. right in your room.

It was great! But I Think resort fee is not reasonable. if hotel need to ask that fee, it must be optional. resotr fee to every guest is not good policy. I did not use hotel facilities.

"The Surfrider Moana Hotel, Waikiki "
For the second consecutive year my sisters and I stayed at the beautiful Surfrider Moana Hotel on Waikiki. The hotel's location is just perfect - right in the middle of everything. The staff is outstanding - very helpful and they go above and beyond to be accommodating. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with all of the necessary ammentities. Bed linen so comfortable - just like in a spa! I've stayed at other Hawaiian hotels, and this is by far the BEST! I would recommend it to anyone.
