Room needed an upgrade, furniture looked old. With the cost of the room and resort fees, they could of giving us an updated room. Hyatt is loosing their touch. They used to welcome you(if you're a repeat customer)with a lei. Now you have to buy it from a vending machine. I will not patronize this establishment again. I'll wait for the new Hilton.

The staff did not listen and were elitist. I came on vacation with family (daughter, son-in-law and grands) and paid for my own room. We asked to be placed close to each other and checked in at the same time. They were placed on the 25th floor and I was placed on the 6th floor, making it hard to allow the kids (10, 8 and 7) to go between rooms on their own. When I arrived in my room, the AC was not working and the room was hot. After a little while, the maintenance staff came and opened it up and fixed it. The person said it was a faulty maintenance issue. Two days later, the AC did not work again. I called the front desk again. A short while later, the maintenance person came, opened up the AC and fixed it, saying there were known issues of the AC disconnecting from the wifi tools. A couple days later, I received a call in the middle of the night that a close friend had passed. My grandson had fallen asleep in one of the beds beside me. I moved over to the other bed to have more space. A short time later, he woke in the night and came over beside me in the other bed. A short time later, I felt something moving on my arm and knew it wasn’t my grandson. I sat up. He felt it, too, and quickly sat up. We both jumped up from the bed when we realized it was a gigantic roach crawling on us under the sheets. My grandson refused to get back in either bed or to go to sleep. By that time, I couldn’t return to sleep. Why would there be roaches up several floors high?

This is the third year we are staying at this property. I cannot say enough good things about it. We are literally right across the street from the beach. The rooms are lovely, extremely clean and large. The restaurants are terrific. I highly recommend this hotel for singles, couples and families. It’s in a perfect location.

This was a beautiful experience! Clean room, great amenities, pool could be bigger! But the hotel is in prime location of the ocean and right in the center of so many entertainment options!!! Love it here!

Staffs are very pleasant & helpful. Excellent service. The room we stayed is very clean and has a fantastic ocean view which I specifically booked. Hyatt Regency is in the middle and walkable to everywhere. The beach is just right in front of you. Overall, this would be my hotel go to when I get back to Waikiki.

Charging a resort fee is ridiculous. The items you offered in the resort fee in no way justified the charges. On the positive side, house keeping and front desk were very friendly and professional. By not including the resort fee in the price per night you are low balling cost per night.

Ocean view was stunning from 34th floor. King room was ample in size and very clean and comfortable. Bed was so comfortable. Complimentary water bottles were a nice touch. Were useful to have with us for touring and sightseeing. Front desk staff were very attentive and helpful.

Bathroom tub dirty furniture old lots of scratches,wall need pairing, small pool , hot tub smells chlorine, to get to beach you have to cross street, ocean floor racky so bring water shoes, small beach, noisy neighbors, that doing construction next door

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Close to everything. The staff was superb, especially Joe at check in and Tess at Shor at the breakfast buffet. Thank you for being so kind to us. Our room with the ocean view was beautiful and the mini suite was the best around for the price. The only area needing some work are the repairs that need moved along. The elevators, our room safe, the shower head. But overall is still a great place to stay.
