Room needed an upgrade, furniture looked old. With the cost of the room and resort fees, they could of giving us an updated room. Hyatt is loosing their touch. They used to welcome you(if you're a repeat customer)with a lei. Now you have to buy it from a vending machine. I will not patronize this establishment again. I'll wait for the new Hilton.

I like the ease of the property, located directly across the famous statue of Waikiki. This hotel is wonderful if you are looking for, quite get the higher floors, accessible, comfortable and friendly.

Clean rooms and friendly staff I did not like the high buffet prices. The room was very expensive. Breakfast should have been free.

Loved the hotel and the kind and helpful staff. Had an ocean view and was a bit noisy at night, but to be expected. Loved my view and will stay at this hotel again.

Really great location. Uber rides to Pearl Harbor and else were inexpensive. Many walking distance attractions. Only problem I had was many hotel buildings being renovated very close. So you could hear loud noise early on.

Slightly on the expensive side, but also well worth the price. We stayed for 4 nights, 5 days on the 35th floor of this 40-storey property. We called for maintenance service and the Hyatt staff came to fix the problem in 15 minutes. There is daily cleaning of the rooms and the staff are all very courteous. They embody the aloha spirit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Unlike the Hyatt Regency in Kaanapali Maui, this Hyatt Regency in Waikiki is outdated. The rooms are old and the pool is extremely small like the size of 4 hot tubs put together. However, if you have to stay there the food at the restaurant are good and the close proximity to the beach, shopping, and tons more in Waikiki are just a few steps away.
