Fantastic location in the heart of kona. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants. This isn’t a typical courtyard, it is a full service resort. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place in kona.

The Valet person was a handsome young Japanese mix man I think his name started with a K.. he was helpful & made you feel welcome. He gave a short but good informative tour of the hotel. The staff in the Restaraunt during breakfast were so friendly & very quick to be of service, our server was another young man named Ned? The hotel is average. The rooms are very dirty, carpet is super old and smells, toilets are dirty from the previous guests that used the room. I talked to Reyna at the front desk and showed her pictures of the dirty toilet. She sent someone to clean but they skipped the toilet again. I emailed the manager as advised by the front desk and he ignored the email . I was disappointed. Marriotts are always clean but not this resort!

Overall was an average property. We got a rental car and stayed for 4 nights. Almost not at the property except back to sleep. We got charged $35.00/day for parking. I think it should be some kind of discount or free for guests. A tour guide was giving a discount to who had parked at courtyard hotel. We just didn’t have the ticket with us bc we handed at front desk.

everything was absolutely wonderful all across the board...beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds and pool area, enjoyed reading the hawaiian history stories about the property...only issue were the parking wrist bands and room keys sometimes would not work so you didn't know which to use and sometimes you just had to punch for a ticket to enter or leave, which you don't pay, the front desk said to just throw them away....we would absolutely stay again....had a most perfect big island experience....aloha and ALOHA

Our room was badly in need of a refurbish, and a good clean. The carpet was badly stained and both our bathroom door and another door were damaged (these were fixed for us). The room was rarely vacuumed (we stayed 2 weeks). Most staff were nice, but upkeep is lagging. A disappointment.
