What an incredible hotel, it was the first flying vacation with our two kids (8, 5 years old), so much to do and such a clean personable resort, we hope to be back sometime soon, Thanks Hilton

We liked having the beach right on site. We spent multiple hours a day at the beach. The pools seemed nice, but we used the ocean for our time in the water. Multiple shops available as well. We visited ABC stores daily. Highly recommended the Waikiki starlight luau, which we did on our anniversary night. Many restaurants are available too. The only thing that was frustrating was when we first checked in they tried giving us a two double bed room. We were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary. I’m also tall and can’t fit on the bed. They did fix it, we had to swap rooms after the first night. If you go, rent a car and go see the north shore. Beautiful area. Drive on H3 highway and go through the rainforest and tunnel.

Checkin was a breeze, we upgraded from rainbow tower to ocean view room at tapa tower. The views were amazing, room was clean. The resort is huge so be prepared to wait for an elevator around 5 pm, only happened a couple times. Location is a 10 min walk to International marketplace and many restaurants along the way. The beach is amazing, a 2 minute walk through the resort to paradise! Avoid the chair rental at the beach if you plan on lounging there more than one day and rent them for the week from any local surf shop, we had an umbrella and 2 beach chairs for ~100 /week. Parking at the hotel is expensive 68/ night, we only rented a car for 3 nights, the rest of the week uber/lyft was always available for all sights around Honolulu area. Be careful when booking the Luau with the hotel, they will try to give you a deal if you attend their 2 hour Condo tour. Housekeeping was great, only issue was they did not show up our last night and we had to request clean towels which they provided within 20 minutes of our text to them. Food here is expensive, the closest affordable place within the resort was RoundTable pizza ($50 for pizza and drinks for 4 people). All the food is great, ate at pier 38 and a few food trucks but be prepared to spend.
